Leaving the Temptation Island season 2 finale, it looked like only one couple stayed together while three couples broke up. What we've learned, thanks to the season 2 reunion on The Viall Files, is that it's way more complicated than that.
During the season 2 reunion, Kaylee and Summit revealed they were still together. Cole and Scarlett confirmed they got back together after filming and are still together. Mikey and Sydney revealed that they, too, got back together after filming and broke up a few months later for good.
That leaves Jack and Shyanne as the only couple who didn't get back together after filming season 2 ended. Well, one of the other stars of Temptation Island season 2 claims Jack and Shyanne are secretly still together and lying about it.
Carter, who had a relationship with Jack during the show, just told Reality Steve that after filming she had a day or two out in Hawaii with Jack, but it never turned into anything serious. She also revealed that Jack and Shyanne got back together basically right when filming ended.
"Recently, I found that he and Shyanne were back together basically the second they got home," Carter told Reality Steve. "And, she knew that me and Jack were still talking, and then, I guess, about a month in, is when they decided to cut everyone off. So, then I was blocked from Jack. I was blocked from Shyanne. Basically, there was no communication between me and anyone."
"So, recently, they full got back together, fully are back together," she continued. "I don't think they want people to know they're together, but they are."
So, look, I don't know what is up, what is down, or anything with these season 2 contestants, especially Jack and Shyanne. There seems to be a lot more secrecy with this group than others, which is odd because they're out there in public talking about the show, their relationships, and their experiences more than other couples in the past.
According to Carter, while three couples broke up on the show, all four couples actually continued dating after the show ended, and three of those couples are still together! That's wild!
For those keeping track at home, this means that Kaylee and Summit, Cole and Scarlett, and Jack and Shyanne are back together. Mikey and Sydney were the only couple to officially break up, and they did so after dating for several months after the show.
We'll just have to wait and see what happens with these relationships and if the cast spills the beans on what really went down in their relationships since the show ended.
