Temptation Island season 2 came to an end on Netflix on Friday, April 10, the same day it premiered. Since then, fans have been wondering what happened with the four couples who ventured out to Hawaii to put their relationships to the test.
Unfortunately, the season ended with most of the couples breaking up. Only Kaylee and Summit left Temptation Island together as a couple after arriving together.
Since then, it's been radio silence about these couples. We didn't know who was together, who broke up, and who stayed broken up until now. The Temptation Island season 2 reunion officially kicked off on The Viall Files on Wednesday, April 22. The second half of the reunion arrives on Friday, April 24.
We don't know why The Viall Files were picked for this reunion, but hey, we're going full Age of Attraction for Temptation Island.
During the reunion, which leaked early online, it was revealed that two of the four couples from Temptation Island season 2 are still together, acccording to Cosmopolitan. Unsurprisingly, Kaylee and Summit are still together. They were, of course, the couple who left stronger after dating other people, while the others broke things off or cheated on each other.
So, that means one of the other three couples got back together, and of them, the couple who made the most senes to get back together did just that. I'm referring to Cole and Scarlett. They ultimately left the island single, but they did so on the best terms of the three couples who did break up.
Cole fully wanted to get back together, but he broke Scarlett's trust by reading her journal about the experience. Scarlett didn't believe that Cole had grown through the experience and simply waited until they were back together to move forward.
Well, it appears that they were able to move past their differences and get back together. Whether it lasts, we'll find out!
For those keeping track at home, that means Mikey and Sydney and Shyanne and Jack did not get back together. It also means that Sydney and Xzavier are no longer together, either.
According to the report, Sydney and Xzavier dated for a few days after leaving the island, but they broke things off shortly after. Obviously, there was a lot of unfinished business and emotions that Sydney needed to process after breaking up with Mikey during the filming, but she also mentioned that they are on good terms.
So, that's the list of couple still together after Temptation Island season 2. It's definitely interesting that so many couples stay or get back together. Typically, more couples break up in seasons of this show. In the first season, we only saw one couple stay together after leaving the island.
Now, we wait until the second part of the season 2 reunion on Friday, April 24, and that season 3 renewal on Netflix!
