Following the success of Brilliant Minds' first season on NBC, the series had millions of fans who wanted to know everything about the plans for the show's second season. Fortunately for those viewers who couldn't wait for Brilliant Minds to make its big return, exciting news about the plans for the series were revealed weeks in advance of the second season's premiere.
Most notably, there was a lot of interest when it was revealed that Brilliant Minds season 2 was adding key new characters. As exciting as it was for fans to learn that one of those new characters would be portrayed by an actor from 911: Lone Star, another piece of casting news was a bigger deal for some Netflix users. As some newly released photos show, one of the stars of a beloved Netflix reality show made their acting debut during a Brilliant Minds season 2 episode.

Photos of Connor Tomlinson's Brilliant Minds acting debut have been released
After millions of people became extremely invested in the Netflix reality show called Love on the Spectrum, it was brought back for a second season. During that reality show's second chapter, viewers were introduced to Connor Tomlinson and saw him build a relationship with Georgia Harris.
After viewers grew to love watching Tomlinson on the hit reality show, they will soon see him in a new light. During Brilliant Minds season 2, episode 3, "The Witness," Tomlinson will be portraying a character named Tom, according to IMDb. Before that episode's premiere, NBC released two images of Tomlinson's character by himself in a bedroom with posters on the wall.

While the two images of Tomlinson don't reveal too much about his character's role, a tagline for the episode featuring his acting debut has been released. ''Dr. Wolf and his team treat a young patient accused of a serious crime.'' There is also a video that can be seen on TikTok of Tomlinson reacting to having made his acting debut after he filmed his Brilliant Minds performance. While he was talking to his mom in the video clip, Tomlinson was asked if he was nervous to act and he gave a fascinating response that involved him describing the pressure he felt.
"I was a bit overwhelmed. These people are professionals. How could I ever hope to hold a candle to Zach? Even the most brilliant actor can miss a line, or as I like to call it, skip a beat every so often."
Don't miss Love on the Spectrum's Connor Tomlinson on Brilliant Minds tonight at 10/9c on NBC.
