After only one season, High Potential has already become one of the hottest shows on television. Between scoring big ratings on ABC and gaining countless new fans by streaming on Hulu, the show continues to prove its power and break some records while doing so. Mostly, everyone can't wait to see what Morgan Gillory will do next and when that will be.
Last week's episode left us on the edge of our seats with a stunning cliffhanger, hinting that we have another two-parter on our hands. In the episode, the team tackled the theft of a highly expensive and very valuable painting, which leads them to work closely with Rhys Eastman (Aiden Turner). Morgan frequently butts heads with the Brit, but toward the end of the episode, sparks start flying.
However, Morgan comes to a realization that Rhys could be behind the actual theft of the painting, which would mean that the art recovery expert could be completing inside jobs. But can we find out how the case comes to its resolution this week? How about the latest developments about Morgan's continued quest to track down Roman? Sadly, there's no new episode on tonight.
Is High Potential on tonight, Tuesday, November 4, 2025?
As mentioned above, there isn't a new episode of High Potential season 2 airing on ABC tonight on ABC. That means that you also should not expect to see a new episode show up on your Hulu watch list on Wednesday. It's definitely a bummer since the season has really hit its stride, but given the season has a limited amount of episodes, there will now be an extended break.
In fact, there will not be another new episode aired on ABC or released on Hulu for the rest of 2025. Last week's episode, which aired on Oct. 28, was the fall finale. High Potential also went on a midseason break in the fall last season after airing seven episodes and didn't return until the following year. The same thing is happening this year, though the break is a bit longer.
Thankfully, we already know when Morgan and the team will return from their hiatus. When it comes down to it, the time will breeze on by since we will be keeping busy with the holidays, catching up on other shows, and attending various end-of-the-year festivities. We won't even notice that the remainder of 2025 will pass us by without another visit from our favorite precinct.
ABC revealed its midseason lineup, which included High Potential season 2 coming back with new episodes on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. While the show remains a Tuesday night staple for the network, there's a change coming for devoted fans. The series will no longer air at 10/9c and moves up one hour to 9/8c, sandwiched between Will Trent and The Rookie.
So, there you have it. High Potential isn't on tonight or any other Tuesday for the rest of the year. It's the perfect time to give the first half of the 18-episode season a rewatch on Hulu or make some room on your watch list for that other show you got behind on.
