Summer 2025 has been great and all, but we're ready for the fall because that's when Dancing with the Stars season 34 finally premieres on ABC. In the upcoming thirty-fourth season, we'll see a bunch of new celebrities step out of their comfort zones and onto the ballroom floor with their pro dance partners, ready to compete for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy under the bright lights and intense pressure. It'll be interesting to see how these stars grow and transform week by week, mastering challenging routines and pushing their limits.

Recently, rumors have circulated about various celebrities being in discussions to join the new installment of the popular dance competition series. However, only four have been officially confirmed so far, leaving fans eager to see who else will join the lineup.

The first celebrity to be added to the Dancing with the Stars season 34 cast was Robert Irwin. He's the son of the late Steve Irwin, aka "The Crocodile Hunter," and the younger brother of season 21 winner Bindi Irwin. Up next was social media personality and model Alix Earle. Then, in June 2025, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast members Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt were announced to had joined the cast.

Now, there are rumors that a controversial reality star from the famous Chrisley family is in talks to join the star-studded lineup. That reality star is Savannah Chrisley. Savannah is best known for being a cast member on the hit reality show Chrisley Knows Best, which followed her life as well as her wealthy and often outspoken family.

She's the daughter of Todd Chrisley, the family patriarch, and Julie Chrisley, both of whom recently made headlines after receiving a presidential pardon following their conviction for bank fraud. They had been serving time in prison before President Donald Trump granted them clemency in May 2025, sparking renewed media attention around the family. According to The U.S. Sun, they learned from an insider that Savannah is currently in talks with Dancing with the Stars producers about joining the upcoming season.

The source revealed to The U.S. Sun that this isn't the first time Savannah has been considered for the show. It's just that things didn't work out the other times. The source also mentioned that some people involved with the show are hesitant or opposed to casting her due to all the controversy surrounding her and her family. However, the source also noted that the producers have a track record of casting polarizing or headline-making celebrities. That said, Savannah’s involvement wouldn’t be out of character for them.

"Savannah Chrisley is also in talks. She's been in talks in previous seasons but it just hasn't worked out. Producers know she will be an extremely controversial pick and not everyone is on board with her but as they've shown in the past, they are not afraid of controversy. They enjoy casting choices that get people talking. Given the recent news with her parents, Savannah would definitely be a choice that gets a lot of buzz."

Besides Savannah, other potential rumored castings for Dancing with the Stars season 34 are The Bachelor season 29 lead Grant Ellis, The Traitors season 3 winner Dylan Efron, and Twilight actor Taylor Lautner. We’ll have to wait and see whether any of these castings become official. Stay tuned to GeekSided for now!
