Since The Big Bang Theory became one of the most successful sitcoms of all time, there has always been a lot of interest in it. That is why fans still care about how Mayim Bialik reacted to the show ending and why both of TBBT's spin-offs have been wildly successful too.

Now that TBBT's second CBS spin-off, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, is retuning soon, however, it is time to look at how it could be improved.

Unfortunately for Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage fans, the sitcom's main characters could be improved in important ways, including the need for Ruben to be fleshed out.

While it would be great to see more of Ruben, there is another pivotal way that the sitcom needs to change.

Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage's main women characters have a major problem

As everyone should already know, sitcoms aren't meant to represent reality. For example, it should be obvious that New York City isn't a monoethnic city where people can live in lavish apartments without being wealthy. As a result, nobody should have expected the second The Big Bang Theory spinoff to be realistic. Still, it really seems like somebody needs to tell the team behind Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage that women are capable of getting along with each other.

During the first season of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, if felt like all of the show's notable female characters were constantly arguing with each other. For example, Mandy McAllister often had open contempt for her mom, Audrey McAllister. On top of that, Audrey and Mary Cooper were constantly at each other's throats. While Mandy and Mary got along some of the time, they too had some memorable arguments. Then there was Missy Cooper, who was awful too and argued with everyone. Even when Mandy befriended her co-worker Beth, it didn't take long for them to get into a physical fight.

The only possible exception to the rule was Connie "Meemaw" Tucker, who could be much more laid back than every other female character on the show. Still, once Connie's illegal activities became a part of the story, she also had confrontational moments with the show's other female characters.

Given that real-life people can have very tense relationships with their adult children, Mandy and Audrey's arguments make sense, and it is important to note that their verbal fights could be funny. However, the fact that all of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage's female characters seem to always be fighting with each other quickly becomes tiresome, and it feels like it is playing into negative sitcom tropes.
