The new seasons of Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage premieres on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025 at 8/7c on CBS. This is almost one year to the day of the sitcom's series premiere as the show debuted on Oct. 17, 2024. The season 2 premiere leads off CBS' Thursday night lineup, which also features the Ghosts season 5 premiere at 8:30/7:30c, Matlock season 2 at 9/8c, and Elsbeth season 3 at 10/9c.
When is Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage on?
Big Bang and Young Sheldon fans can watch new episodes of Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage season 2 on Thursday nights on CBS. The show releases new episodes at 8 p.m. ET throughout the 2025-2026 television season, though there will certainly be weeks where the network airs rerun episodes or the show won't be airing, such as around the midseason break.
However, we can expect new episodes to arrive at 8/7c on Thursday nights. In addition to airing Thursday nights on CBS, Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage can also be streamed on Paramount+. Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage season 2 cast
Unlike other shows coming back for new seasons and have been dealt cast changes, the cast of Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage remains unchanged. The second season main cast matches the first season: Montana Jordan (Georgie Cooper), Emily Osment (Mandy McAllister), Rachel Bay Jones (Audrey McAllister), Will Sasso (Jim McAllister), Dougie Baldwin (Connor McAllister), and Jessie Prez (Ruben). No one left the show and no characters were promoted to series regulars.
Young Sheldon cast members Zoe Perry (Mary Cooper), Annie Potts (Meemaw), and Reagan Revord (Missy Cooper) are expected to continue to make recurring guest appearances in season 2. Casey Wilson will likely also return as her recurring character Beth, who became Mandy's friend while working as waitresses together. Christopher Gorham, who stars in the new CBS drama series Sheriff Country, has confirmed his return in season 2 as Mandy's ex-boyfriend and boss Scott.
How did Georgie & Mandy season 1 end?
The first season of Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage ended with a two-part finale that found Mandy accepting a full-time position as a weather girl. Working early mornings isn't the only drag of the job as she's working for Scott, her former boss in San Antonio and her ex-boyfriend who appears to still have feelings for her. Mandy opts not to tell Georgie that she's working with her ex at first, and when he finds out, they argue over trust. The situation drives Georgie to be daring in his own career.
Meanwhile, Jim accepted an offer from Fred Fagenbacher to sell the auto shop, but Georgie wants to scrounge the money together to buy the shop himself so Jim can retire and keep the store in the family. Although Georgie comes up short of Fred's offer, Ruben puts up the money to match. They're going into business together running the shop, which should make for great comedy in season 2. As for Georgie and Mandy, they end the season on a positive note of love, trust, and teamwork.
Georgie & Mandy season 2 teasers and spoilers
Currently, CBS hasn't released a full-length trailer for the second season of Georgie & Mandy or official clips from the season premiere, but the network should give fans some teasers soon. The key art for season 2 (featured below) has been released and showcases Georgie and Mandy still in love, and we already know that the season 2 premiere is titled "A Tie Breaker and a Huge Mistake."
Here's the official synopsis for Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage season 2 episode 1 via the CBS press release: "Tensions rise in the tire store when new co-owners Georgie and Ruben realize they can’t agree on anything, and Jim struggles to find his purpose now that he’s retired." The story is by Chuck Lorre and Jim Reynolds, the episode was written by Steven Molaro and Steve Holland and directed by Mark Cendrowski.
In the new season, Mandy has gained some local fame with her new position as the weekend weather girl, and the attention she receives as the "hot weather girl" from other men has Georgie a bit jealous. Additionally, a behind-the-scenes photo released of Montana Jordan sporting a black eye shocked fans, but it hasn't been confirmed how Georgie gets his shiner. According to TV Line, he meets Scott in episode 5. Maybe their introduction comes to blows?
