We're about to see this happen soon with the fourth and final season of The Cleaning Lady. The beloved Fox drama has finally received a streaming release date, and it's sooner than you think! HBO Max recently unveiled its August 2025 newsletter, and included in the lineup was The Cleaning Lady season 4. The streaming giant has set a release date for Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025. On this exact date, you can expect the entire 12-episode fourth season to drop on HBO Max.
So if you didn't get the chance to watch the episodes as they aired on Fox, now’s your moment to catch up from the very beginning. The first three seasons are already available to stream on the platform, so you can always go back and revisit the show's best moments.
The Cleaning Lady comes from Miranda Kwok (The 100, Spartacus). She not only created the series but also served as showrunner and executive producer. It's a crime drama that's an adaptation of the Spanish-language Argentine drama series La Chica que Limpia. Essentially, it tells the story of a resourceful woman who becomes entangled in the criminal underworld as she uses her skills to survive and protect her family.
The series centers on Thony De La Rosa, a Cambodian-Filipino former doctor, who, after her visa expires while seeking medical treatment for her son in the United States, finds herself undocumented and forced to work for a dangerous criminal organization cleaning up crime scenes to keep her family safe.
Élodie Yung, who is best known for previously starring as Elektra Natchios in Netflix's Marvel shows Daredevil and The Defenders, took on the leading role of Thony De La Rosa. She was joined in the cast by other amazingly talented actors such as the late Adan Canto, Oliver Hudson, Eva De Dominici, Naveen Andrews, Kate del Castillo, Santiago Cabrera, and many others. Unfortunately, Fox canceled the crime drama in June 2025 due to low ratings.
