ABC has dropped its 2025 premiere lineup for their primetime shows, and we're more than ready for our favorites to pop back on our screens! We're talking Abbott Elementary, Grey's Anatomy, and the return of everyone's favorite host, Alfonso Ribeiro, as he takes on DWTS and America's Funniest Home Videos. It's going to be a great block of entertainment, as it has been a minute since we last saw everyone in the season finales.
Abbott Elementary will start its school session earlier than last year, as the beloved comedy will premiere its fifth season on October 1, which is eight days earlier than its fourth season debut on October 9, 2024.
Another ABC hit making its return is the Kaitlin Olson-led procedural, High Potential. The second season will be filled with fresh cases and the natural juggles of Morgan's personal life, while trying to efficiently crack the mysteries.
If you're a reality fan, then be prepared to swim in shark-infested waters as hopeful business owners try to get a bite of financial help from the investment team in Shark Tank, returning for season 16. However, Mark Cuban, who made his farewell appearance in the season 15 finale last May, will not be returning, as he wants to spend more time with his family.
Kicking off the season will be Monday Night Football on September 8. For several years, ABC has been airing the NFL games, and in the past few years, Disney and the NFL have collaborated to release The Simpsons Monday Night Football version and a Toy Story one, which synchronize with the live airings. The specials were streamed on Disney+.
