There's a new fire crew in town (or on our screens!). TV's most outlandish franchise has spawned another spinoff as 911: Nashville comes to ABC this fall with firefighters, country music and, well, firenadoes! If you've been keeping up with this saga through original show 911 and first spinoff 911: Lone Star, you'll know to expect the unexpected from the Ryan Murphy franchise (while also expecting complete chaos from the get-go).
The spinoff stars Chris O'Donnell as the 113's fire captain Don Hart, while also featuring a star-studded cast that includes Jessica Capshaw, LeAnn Rimes and Kimberly Williams-Paisley in main roles. They are joined by a cast full of young stars (including Michael Provost, Hailey Kilgore, Juani Feliz, and Hunter McVey) who are set to make a name for themselves in the 911 shared universe. And it's safe to say that they've all joined one of the most high-profile new shows of the season.
While the show has already made its US debut on ABC, fans in the UK will have to wait a little bit longer for it - which might come as a surprise. The good news is that it isn't too much longer.
911: Nashville's UK release date is two weeks after its US premiere
911: Nashville has been officially confirmed to premiere on Disney Plus in the UK on Wednesday, October 22 2025. It was confirmed via the show's official listing on the streaming platform itself which previews the series and features the release date among the synopsis and cast list too.
That means the show will arrive on Disney Plus (via its Hulu banner) just under two weeks after its US premiere. That's pretty fair considering the UK once had to wait months for US TV shows to make their way across the water, but it is still an unexpected wait considering how quickly Disney Plus has been releasing episodes of ABC shows in recent months.

Up until May of this year, new episodes of the original 911 series and Grey's Anatomy would release on Disney Plus in the UK on Friday mornings, just hours after their US debuts. Although Grey's has maintained that release format, 911 has moved to Wednesdays on a two-week delay so that it will accompany 911: Nashville in releasing new episodes two weeks after their US premieres.
It's not clear why the change was made for the 911s but it could have something to do with the fact that Nashville is a brand new series and ABC potentially being reluctant to release it around the world the very next morning after its debut. And with a crossover with its parent show increasingly likely, it's possible that the decision was made to have 911 accompany it on the two-week UK delay to ensure that both shows remain in sync with each other on a weekly basis. That will avoid any issues whenever the inevitable crossover does happen.
Both shows have such unique tones, but it's already clear that 911: Nashville is ready to make a name for itself in the heavy-hitting franchise with that familiar over-the-top approach that made its predecessors famous. The season premiere certainly made viewers sit up and pay attention with its larger-than-life stunts and visuals, as well as its compellingly soapy family drama. What more could you want from a Ryan Murphy procedural series?!

All in all, it's good to know that 911: Nashville isn't too far away for UK viewers. Yes, that means that they will have to stay away from the actors' social media accounts (as well as the social media accounts for the show itself) to avoid spoiling the adventures of the 113 on a weekly basis, but given how long UK fans used to have to wait for US shows to air and / or return to screens, two weeks doesn't seem so bad.
Who knows; maybe when the show reaches its midseason point it could begin streaming the day after its US release, but for now, on Wednesdays we watch the 911 franchise!
