A new year is here, and that means some new TV shows to check out. And there are a lot to look forward to. Whether it’s CBS, FOX, or even NBC, there are some great new TV shows arriving in 2026.
Some are arriving sooner than others, with January premiere dates for a lot of exciting additions. However, due to the Winter Olympics and other sporting events, some networks are holding off their returns until February and even March 2026!
Here are our top five picks for 2026. They are all in premiere date order to help you plan ahead.

Best Medicine
We start with some FOX shows, with Best Medicine one to watch out for, especially for fans of the British series Doc Martin. This one-hour comedy stars Josh Charles, who, while some will know him as a favorite on The Good Wife, others will remember him as a manipulative Commander on The Handmaid’s Tale.
Charles plays a gifted but prickly surgeon who decides to leave the successful Boston career that he’s had for a life as a small-town GP. If only that were going to be simple for him! We all know moving to a small town brings major issues.
Best Medicine will get a special premiere date of Sunday, Jan. 4 at 8/7c and will then move to its regular time slot of Tuesdays from Jan. 13 at 8/7c.
Memory of a Killer
Patrick Dempsey is back as the lead on a broadcast series, and this FOX show is based on a movie. Memory of a Killer looks great for crime and spy thrillers, as it raises a question that most others don’t. What happens when a hitman suffers from Alzheimer’s?
That’s what happens in this, as Dempsey’s character is trying to keep it together as his memory fades. He doesn’t want his daughter to find out the truth, but it won’t be long until his enemies start to come after him to knock him down off the pedestal he once stood on.
Memory of a Killer will get a special premiere on Sunday, Jan. 25 at 10/9c and will then move to its regular time slot of Mondays at 9/8c the day after.
The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins
We all need a comedy or two in our lives, and NBC will bring a new comedy on Mondays. The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins follows Tracy Morgan as the titular character, who enlists an award-winning filmmaker in an attempt to turn his life around.
He needs to rehabilitate his image after becoming a disgraced football player. However, that means confronting the things in his past, and it’s not too clear if he’s ready for this.
The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins will get a two-episode premiere on Monday, Feb. 23 at 8/7c before moving to Mondays at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.
CIA
Now for a show that we weren’t too sure was going to happen. The FBI spinoff, CIA, has been through some major changes behind the scenes. However, the teaser trailer is here, and it makes us excited for everything that’s to come.
The series follows a CIA case officer who is more than willing to break the rules. When he’s teamed up with a by-the-book FBI agent, the two need to figure out how to work together and deal with each other’s personalities.
CIA premieres on Monday, Feb. 23 at 10/9c on CBS.
Y: Marshals
For the Yellowstone fans out there, Y: Marshals is the broadcast series to look forward to. It’s a spinoff focusing on Luke Grimes’ Kayce Dutton. Deciding that he is done with working on the ranch, he joins the elite unit of U.S. Marshals to protect the land.
The teaser doesn’t give too much away. All we know is that Kayce is looking for a new beginning, and that’s certainly what he’ll find as we delve into this new crime drama.
Y: Marshals premieres on Sunday, March 1 at 8/7c on CBS.
