To call The Traitors tense now would be to undermine the tension that the show has built since the beginning of its fourth season. So, yes, while it's gotten even more tense in recent episodes, this has been one of the most nail-biting editions of the UK edition yet... and that includes the beloved Celebrity spinoff.
The look on Claudia Winkleman's face when Matt was banished during the most recent episode said it all: Complete shock and a little disappointment. That's what viewers were feeling, and they will probably continue to be on the edges of their seats throughout the next two installments - at the end of which the winner will be revealed.
With that in mind, here's when you can expect the next episode - and perhaps more importantly, what you can expect from it.
The Traitors season 4 episode 11 start time (and how long the episode is)
The Traitors airs on BBC One tonight, Thursday January 22, at 8:00 p.m. GMT, premiering directly after EastEnders. It will also be available to stream on BBC iPlayer at the same time, meaning you have the luxury of choosing between watching it on the linear channel or streaming. Either way, you can rest assured that the nation will be watching.
How long can you expect the episode to run for? Well, that's actually the most predictable part of this unpredictable show! Each episode of The Traitors has a runtime of 1 hour and 5 minutes - and this one is no different, meaning that it will finish at 9:05 p.m. GMT. After that, you can get the debrief on everything that happened in Ardross Castle as Ed Gamble hosts another episode of companion series The Traitors: Uncloaked, recapping all of the events from episode 11.
And another thing to take into consideration once the credits roll: There will be just one more episode as Friday's installment will indeed be the final, when we will find out who wins the prize money. Will the Traitors or the Faithfuls succeed?
What to expect from the next episode of The Traitors
All eyes are on our Traitors in the penultimate edition of the BBC show's fourth season. Rachel and Stephen had some interesting energy when we last saw them and it has fans wondering if the pair - who have stuck together as Traitors since the very beginning - will end up turning on each other with the final in sight.
Rachel is going to have quite the uphill battle on her hands as the group is beginning to suspect that she might be a Traitor. Faraaz thinks he might have figured it out, asking her about the possibility that she might be one of the cloak-wearing Traitors in public. She obviously denied it, but the fear that people might be onto her is growing - which is especially frustrating for her after playing such a strong game.
Her one chance of avoiding a roundtable that might end in her banishment is if the group still feels like James acted outlandishly in the previous roundtable with his commitment to eliminating Matt - who was actually a Faithful. If she can convince them that he was actually a Traitor, she might have a chance of making it to the Final.
As for her relationship with fellow Traitor Stephen? That could be tested more than ever in the penultimate episode, and it could very well end up having an impact on the Final. Stephen wasn't particularly happy about Rachel's suggestion that she might play into the talk about him potentially being a Traitor as it could lead to some people banishing him, but would he be willing to have those same conversations about her? It's going to be an interesting penultimate episode, that's for sure!
