If you've been watching any kind of television in the UK, there is a pretty good chance you're aware of how significantly The Traitors has taken off. Based on the the Dutch series De Verraders, the brand has become a global phenomenon, and the UK edition has taken the nation by storm, with Claudia Winkleman reeling us all in with her charismatic hosting. And, of course, she has done it all again in the ongoing spinoff The Celebrity Traitors.
With nine gripping episodes featuring some of the most recognizable faces on UK TV, the series has featured plenty of surprises, jaw-dropping twists, and viral moments that have allowed it to become every bit as successful as the general series. And, with just a few episodes left, you can bet that Claudia and the remaining Faithfuls / Traitors have another epic show in store for us.
With that in mind, here's when you can expect the next episode and what you can expect from it.
The Celebrity Traitors episode 7 start time (and how long the episode is)
The seventh episode of The Celebrity Traitors will air tonight, Wednesday October 29, on BBC One at 9:00 p.m. GMT. It's well-established that the series has something of a later start time when compared to other BBC reality programs like Strictly Come Dancing due to its somewhat darker themes, so you can expect the episode to begin after tonight's planned episodes of EastEnders and The Repair Shop. You can also watch live on BBC iPlayer at the same time.
The episode has a runtime of one hour and five minutes, with the next programmed scheduled to begin at 10:05 pm GMT. And given that that program is BBC News At Ten, we don't reckon that The Celebrity Traitors will run over time - especially as it has already been pre-filmed and isn't live programming.
After that, viewers can expect another episode tomorrow night (Thursday October 30) and then the finale next Thursday, November 6.
What to expect from The Celebrity Traitors' next episode
This has been quite the series of The Traitors and certainly one that is worthy of being the first edition of the celebrity spinoff. We've had Celia Imrie's hilariously viral moment that had even Claudia Winkleman breaking character - a rarity on this show - Kate Garraway's brilliant "Maybe someone's been recruited!" declaration, and Tom Daley's aversion to the word "flabbergasted". And somehow, it still feels like the best is yet to come from it.
With the real surprise of the series being Stephen Fry's exit from the show in the previous episode - after he was voted out - it's clear that nobody can predict how this series is going to play out. And with just three episodes left to go, tensions are higher than ever - and we're just talking about with us viewers!
The opening episode of The Celebrity Traitors garnered an impressive 12 million total viewers, reiterating that the Traitors franchise is BBC's biggest hit since Strictly, and it's even more impressive that the program continues to draw those numbers in the middle of the week. That just highlights how must-see the British public deems this show.
