In the words of Kylie Minogue: Lights, camera, action, that's it! BBC's Strictly Come Dancing is back for its Movies Week extravaganza, which means we are getting to see the couples take to the floor with special film-inspired routines. It wouldn't be Week 3 of the competition without it!

Over the years, we have seen Batman Viennese Waltz, Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker Charleston, and the Pirates of the Caribbean Paso Doble, and this year we are treated to a whole lot of wonderful new routines that will go down in Strictly history among the most memorable ever.

Yes, it was a thrilling night of dancing that earned some rave reviews from the judges, but who scored highly and who is in danger of the infamous Dance-Off? If you missed it, let us take you to the movies and catch you up with a recap of what went down. With that in mind, here are all the Strictly spoilers you need to know from Movie Week, including the results and scores from the Week 3 Saturday Night show.

Strictly spoilers and results: Week 3 Leaderboard

The curtains were raised, the film started rolling, and the critics prepared their notepads as Strictly went to the movies for its annual Movies Week Special. On tonight's episode, we saw Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin show us that the dancefloor is alive with The Sound of Music after a wonderful American Smooth, Alex Kingston and Johannes Radebe Quickstep their way to The Devil Wears Prada soundtrack, and George Clarke and Alexis Warr unveil their Couple's Choice to the viral hit "Soda Pop" from KPOP Demon Hunters. But who received five star reviews from the judges?

It should be noted that Stefan Dennis and Dianne Buswell didn't dance this week as Stefan was advised by a doctor to rest after battling sickness and thus they have been given a bye through to next week. We wish Stefan the very best for a speedy recovery!

Let's roll out the red carpet and head straight into the theater as we take you through the scores that each of the dances were given by the judges, and the Leaderboard that remained at the end of the episode:

  • Lewis and Katya danced the Paso Doble - 9, 10, 9, 9 = 37
  • Amber and Nikita danced the American Smooth - 8, 9, 9, 9 = 35

Once again, this is really shaping up to be one of the strongest series we've ever had as another strong night of dancing, plus extremely positive feedback from Cynthia Erivo made it a five-star classic all around. But which couple is in danger of the Dance-Off?

Who is in danger on Strictly Come Dancing 2025 Week 3?

This is undoubtedly the most competitive night of dancing from the 2025 series of Strictly Come Dancing thus far. Although last week was probably still the overall strongest episode of the series, the dancing quality for Week 3 was - once again - extremely impressive, reminding us that this may be the strongest series in some time. That also makes the judging extremely difficult because, when they're all good, it's hard to know who's in danger.

It is worth noting that Chris and Nadiya are on the bottom end of the Leaderboard again, which landed them in the Dance-Off last night. The good news is that they had a much stronger night this week, with their Thor: Love and Thunder-inspired routine receiving praise for showcasing Chris improvement. The question is, if they do end up in the Dance Off again, who would it be with?

Ross and Jowita re once again at the very bottom of the Leaderboard. They were saved from that position last week by the public vote. Will the viewers come to the dancing pair's rescue again this week? It's possible, and they also have the advantage this week of there being two ties on the Leaderboard. That means that there are two points less between the couples at the top of the Leaderboard and those at the bottom, meaning that the public vote carries more weight than it normally would. This could be enough to save any couples in the middle or near the bottom who might have found themselves in danger on a normal week.

Taking all of that into account, we're still predicting a Ross vs. Chris Dance Off, as there are a number of fan-favorites in the dangerous middle spots of the Leaderboard, which could prompt a wave of votes their way. And that could result in the bottom two being the actual Bottom Two on the night. Stay tuned!

The Strictly Come Dancing Results Show airs on BBC One on Sunday, October 12, at 7:15 pm.
