It's almost time to dust off the dancing shoes and head back out to the dancefloor for another week of Strictly Come Dancing. That's right, BBC One's beloved entertainment show is back for Week 4 as the couples look to impress the judges - and the viewers! - with more sensational routines destined to make us applaud.

Movies Week was a roaring success, with many dances scoring five stars from the judges (or, should we say 8s, 9s, and 10s), but when the credits rolled on Week 3, it was Ross King and his partner Jowita Przystał who bowed out with their last dance. What was also shocking about that result was that Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon found themselves in the Dance-Off after a beautiful Foxtrot on the Saturday evening show.

Now, with Halloween Week in sight, the couples are set to do it all again in a bid to get through another week. What's even better is that Stefan Dennis and Dianne Buswell return to the dancefloor this week after their week out last Saturday, and they're set to make a memorable return. If you're ready to watch, here's when you can do that.

Strictly Week 4 start time (and how long the episode is)

Strictly Come Dancing Week 4 airs on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 6:30 pm BST. The episode, featuring the 12 remaining couples taking to the dancefloor to dance brand new routines, starts at a later time than its predecessor simply due to the fact that there are less couples now. While previous episodes aired slightly earlier in the evening, the eliminations have made for a shorter program, meaning that it can now start airing closer to 7:00 p.m. as the weeks go on.

The episode has a runtime of 2 hours and 6 minutes, meaning it will finish around 8:35 pm BST. Of course, this is live entertainment so it might wrap up slightly earlier or later than that, but you can expect to be entertained for just over two hours either way.

The Sunday Night Results Show will then air on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 7:15 pm BST as usual.

The Week 4 dances and songs feature some classics, modern hits and more KPop Demon Hunters

Ahead of this week's show, the official BBC Strictly social media accounts unveiled the songs and dances that each couple will be performing this week and it looks like we're all in for a fun night of entertainment! Although some couples had previously revealed their songs, dances, or themes on the Sunday Night Results Show, we now know what all of the dances will be.

Check out the full list below:

  • Balvinder and Julian – Paso Doble to "Diablo Rojo" to Rodrigo y Gabriela
  • Chris and Nadiya – Salsa to "Maria" by Ricky Martin
  • Ellie and Vito – Couples Choice to "Golden" by HUNTR/X

  • Lewis and Katya – Foxtrot to "L-O-V-E" by Nat King Cole
  • Stefan and Dianne – Charleston to "Dance Monkey" by Tones And I
  • Vicky and Kai – Samba to "La Isla Bonita" by Madonna

In having a look at the list of dances, it's clear that we're in for a great show, with potential standouts being Ellie and Vito's Couples Choice, Amber and Nikita's Argentine Tango, Balvinder and Julian's Paso Doble and Alex and Johannes' Rumba. It's also a chance for Balvinder and Julian to bounce back from the Dance-Off, while we're eagerly awaiting Neighbours legend Stefan Dennis' Charleston comeback with Dianne Buswell.

Last week saw Lewis and Katya top the Leaderboard, with Amber and Nikita close behind them. Will either one of them hold onto the top spots in this week's show? There's quite the possibility of that - especially with Amber having the Argentine Tango. It's a surprise to see it introduced so early as that dance is usually reserved until much further into the competition (around Week 7 in the past) when the contestants have picked up more technique as it's a pretty complex one. But if anyone can make it look effortless, it's Amber!

We can't wait to see all of the fun that Strictly Week 4 has in store for us! It's going to be a good one!
