Ready for more laughs and off-the-rails hospital hijinks? St. Denis Medical is officially set to return on NBC this fall with its highly anticipated second season, bringing back the beloved, delightfully dysfunctional medical staff fans couldn’t get enough of.

The first season of the workplace comedy premiered on NBC in November 2024. While it was still airing, the network announced in January 2025 that the show had been renewed for a second season. It was later confirmed that season 2 would debut in fall 2025. However, it wasn’t until May that we got a more specific update. NBC unveiled its fall lineup, and St. Denis Medical season 2 was officially on the schedule. In a press release at that time, the network revealed that the second season would begin airing sometime in November of this year.

Naturally, we were hoping for an early November release, and it looks like our wishes have been granted. On July 28, NBC announced the premiere dates for all of its shows coming in the fall, and St. Denis Medical season 2 was given a Monday, Nov. 3 premiere date. What's even better is that the first episode won't be the only one airing that night. NBC will kick things off with back-to-back episodes, meaning the second episode will air immediately after the premiere. The first episode will air at 8:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. CT, followed by the second episode at 8:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. CT.

Eric Ledgin and Justin Spitzer (Superstore, American Auto) created St. Denis Medical. The series takes place in a small, struggling hospital in Oregon, where the medical staff face constant challenges. But despite the overwhelming workload and demanding patients, the team’s dedication and quirky camaraderie are what truly keep the hospital alive and the spirits high.

The show's cast is made up of many gifted actors such as Wendi McLendon-Covey, Allison Tolman, Josh Lawson, Kahyun Kim, Mekki Leeper, David Alan Grier, and Kaliko Kauahi. You can currently stream the first season for free on the official NBC website or on Peacock with a subscription.

If you enjoy St. Denis Medical, chances are you might also like the comedy sitcom Happy's Place starring Reba McEntire. It's scheduled to return with its second season in November on NBC. The exact premiere date is Friday, Nov. 7, 2025. You can also expect back-to-back episodes of this show to premiere on this date.
