We knew it would eventually happen. The CW shows are slowly leaving Netflix, due to the shows themselves at an end now. That doesn’t mean we like it when it comes to a series that we love. The time has come for Supernatural leaving Netflix.
After 15 seasons, Supernatural came to an end in 2020. Of course, the ending wasn’t quite what we wanted, and it wasn’t what was initially planned. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, filmed had to be halted, and then the protocols meant that everything had to change in terms of number of people on set.
We’d love to see a redo, but at least we always had the ability to rewatch on Netflix. However, once the series came to an end, we knew that time would be short on the streamer.
Supernatural is leaving Netflix in 2025
In some disappointing news, Supernatural is leaving Netflix before the end of the year. We had hoped to get another couple of years based on previous CW shows, but it’s not to be. All 15 seasons of the series will come off Netflix on Dec. 18, 2025. What’s On Netflix shared the disappointing news.
It’s not the only CW series leaving Netflix on that day, either. All eight seasons of Arrow will also leave, which also came to an end in 2020.
In some good news, it means that there is just over a month to get through all the episodes of the stories of the Winchester brothers. With a push, you should be able to get through all 300+ episodes.
Where is Supernatural streaming in 2026?
Of course, now the big question is where the show will go next. That’s the million-dollar question that doesn’t have an answer at this time, and that’s not too surprising. Those who have been in other parts of the world when Supernatural has left a streamer have had to wait patiently for news about where the show would head next.
As the series is a Warner Bros. production, HBO Max seems like the best location to stream in 2026. However, Prime Video has gained the rights in Canada in the past, and the United States location could get it. There is sure to be a big fight for this series, as it continues to prove to be a success with fans old and new.
This does continue to bring up the reason DVD and Blu-ray sales remain popular. I know there was a fear they would die out in the past, but with losing a streaming home temporarily, people need DVDs to make sure they can keep watching.
Supernatural is still available to stream on Netflix until Dec. 18. 2025.
