It's safe to say that High Potential was one of the biggest hits of the 2024 - 2025 TV calendar. The breakout hit stars Kaitlin Olsen as Morgan Gillory, the cleaning lady at an LAPD precinct who showcases her talent for solving crimes and catching criminals due to her intellectual abilities - which ultimately leads to her becoming a consultant. Needless to say that it has recreated that success story with its second season.
The show's popularity has translated across the water too, as it streams internationally on Disney Plus. It's a big hit in the UK too, with new episodes constantly finding themselves topping the daily Top 10 chart upon their release. The fact that it did this in season 1 - when new episodes were delayed until weeks after their US premiere on ABC and when it faced competition from the likes of Daredevil: Born Again - is incredibly impressive.
That's probably one of the reasons why there is no delay with season 2, and with the show now back for the second half of that season, UK audiences are ready to enjoy even more adventures from Morgan and Karadec.
High Potential season 2 has a better release schedule for Disney Plus subscribers in the UK
New episodes of High Potential season 2 stream on Disney Plus UK every Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m. GMT, arriving on the platform just hours after their respective Tuesday night premieres on ABC in the US. This is a major change from the show's first season, which didn't unveil new episodes until months after their US debut. Needless to say, fans of the drama have been thrilled about that.
From September through October, audiences were able to enjoy each season 2 episode just hours after their US premiere. This continued on until the annual midseason break for the holidays (which came a little earlier than expected last year). However, with the show's return to US TV screens, Disney Plus UK has resumed releasing new episodes each Wednesday morning, starting with episode 8. This will continue through the remainder of the season - which consists of 18 total episodes.
With that in mind, here is the complete Disney Plus UK release schedule for High Potential season 2:
- Episodes 1 - 7: Every Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. (September 17, 2025 - October 29, 2025)

Note: The remaining episodes beyond this point of the season are expected to continue streaming each Wednesday, but they are subject to schedule changes in the US, If one episode shifts, it will automatically impact all of the ones due to come after it.

High Potential is one of the most-watched shows in the US today, bringing in both a combination of strong on-the-night viewing figures for ABC and high streaming numbers (on Hulu and Disney Plus US). Its success on the latter has ultimately resulted in its live viewing figures increasing - with season 1 numbers growing from a solid premiere of 3.59 million to weekly installments bringing in almost 6 million viewers. That's an almost impossible feat in today's day and age, and it's just another indicator of how popular High Potential is. It's no surprise that this popularity has translated across the water.
The ABC show is based on the French and Belgian series HPI. Alongside Olsen, it stars Daniel Sunjata as her partner Karadec, Batwoman star Javicia Leslie as Major Crimes Investigator Daphne, Deniz Akdeniz as Daphne's partner Oz, and Judy Reyes as Major Crimes Lieutenant Selena Soto.
Although it has not yet been renewed for a third season, it's looking pretty likely that season 3 will happen as the show continues to be a major success story for ABC.
