Fire Country isn't new tonight, Friday, Nov. 28 (but there is some good news)

We’ve certainly become used to Fridays being all about the Max Thieriot drama Fire Country. It’s a lot of fun and extremely soapy in the drama, which makes it the perfect way to end the week. However, there is some bad news tonight, Friday, Nov. 28.

There isn’t a new episode of the firefighter drama on tonight. That’s not too surprising when you consider it’s a holiday weekend. Thanksgiving was just yesterday, and CBS knows that people travel for this holiday. Rather than risking the ratings, it’s just better to preempt the show. Sheriff Country and Boston Blue are also on hold this week.

One Last Time
“One Last Time” – Bode and Jake respond to a lighthouse rescue operation that turns into a mission to prevent a ship from crashing during an intense storm. Meanwhile, Eve investigates the origins of a flu outbreak at Three Rock, on FIRE COUNTRY, Friday, March 14 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*. There are more episodes of Fire Country coming in 2025

While many networks have already aired their shows’ fall finales, CBS hasn’t. There are still plenty of episodes to come of all our favorite dramas, and that includes Fire Country.

Fire Country will return on Friday, Dec. 5 with an episode titled “Best Mom in the World.” Sharon’s estranged mom is turning up, and that’s sure to bring up some painful memories. After all, there are some major reasons for people to cut off their parents.

Meanwhile, Bode and Jake are sure to end up arguing over a situation. They’ll get a call from a troubled teen in a condemned building, and that’s going to surely lead to a debate over saving them or not. Is it safe to go into the condemned building, and should the police get involved? We know how these things play out, right?

There is then at least one more episode, which will air on Friday, Dec. 12. This is likely to be the fall finale, but CBS hasn’t confirmed this just yet.

What the Bride Said
“What the Bride Said” – In the midst of Gabriela and Diego’s wedding, a helicopter crash ignites chaos and the team immediately jumps into action to stop fires and help victims, on the third season premiere of FIRE COUNTRY, Friday, Oct. 18 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+. What’s on instead of Fire Country tonight?

The good news is you can watch a rerun of Fire Country in the usual time slot of 9/8c. There is also a rerun in the hour following it. Clearly, this is the show CBS thinks that people are going to want to watch if they’re around for the day after Thanksgiving. The reruns will include Vince in the story, so if you’re missing him, these are the ones to watch. You can always watch any episode you want on Paramount+.

The night does start with A PAW Patrol Christmas, though. So, if you have kids in the house, it’s the perfect time to gather around the TV.

Once Fire Country does go on its winter break, it’ll be back in late February due to the Winter Olympics.
