The Hallmark Channel is known for its family-friendly programming, making it a go-to destination for viewers seeking uplifting stories, lighthearted romance, and feel-good entertainment that's suitable for all ages. That’s why it comes as no surprise that the network is adding a fan-favorite CW series to its schedule. One that perfectly aligns with Hallmark’s warm and wholesome vibe.
That cherished series is Gilmore Girls, known for showcasing one of television’s most iconic mother-daughter pairs. According to Deadline, Gilmore Girls is going to be broadcast on the Hallmark Channel starting Aug. 25, 2025. All seven seasons of the comedy-drama series will be aired in order, beginning with the very first episode.
The show will air weekdays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Plus, there will be marathon events on special occasions. This is great news for longtime fans and newcomers alike, offering a perfect chance to relive the show's best moments or catch up on every episode.

Amy Sherman-Palladino (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Bunheads) created Gilmore Girls. It originally aired on The WB for six seasons before moving to The CW for its seventh and final season. It revolves around the close relationship between a quirky single mother and her smart daughter in the charming small town of Stars Hollow.
Golden Globe-nominated actress Lauren Graham starred in one of the leading roles as Lorelai Gilmore, while Emmy winner Alexis Bledel portrayed Lorelai's teen daughter, Rory Gilmore. The cast also included many other amazingly talented actors such as Melissa McCarthy, Keiko Agena, Yanic Truesdale, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Edward Herrmann, Liza Weil, Jared Padalecki, Milo Ventimiglia, Sean Gunn, Chris Eigeman, and Matt Czuchry.
After the show ended its run in 2007 with its seventh season, Netflix revived interest in the series when it added all seasons to its streaming platform in 2014. This introduced Gilmore Girls to a new generation of fans, sparking renewed enthusiasm and leading to the creation of the 2016 Netflix-exclusive revival, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
This revival series continued the story in four special episodes, exploring the characters’ lives nearly a decade later and giving longtime fans a heartfelt update on Lorelai, Rory, and the residents of Stars Hollow.
If you're impatient and can't wait until Gilmore Girls starts airing on the Hallmark Channel, you'll be glad to know that the entire seven-season series is currently streaming on Netflix and Hulu. But keep in mind that you'll need to be subscribed to these streaming services in order to gain access. The only other option is to rent or purchase episodes from digital platforms.
