In the history of reality TV, there have been a handful of people who've become iconic after starring in competition shows. Looking at that elite group of people, it is easy to argue that Dr. Will Kirby is one of the most entertaining people on that list. After all, Dr. Will has always made the most of every moment he appears on TV, and he has also been fantastic in other mediums, like when he gave Big Brother players hilarious advice on social media.

Unfortunately for fans of Dr. Will, he went many years without competing on TV after he proved his dominance twice on Big Brother. Thankfully, he has recently proven he is still TV gold by coming out of retirement for Deal or No Deal Island and Celebrity Weakest Link. It is also wonderful news that Dr. Will has recently revealed that there are more shows he hopes to compete on soon.

Dr. Will Kirby still has "a lot of fire in my belly" to compete on some TV shows

In December 2025, Dr. Will Kirby spoke to GeekSided about why he decided to compete on Celebrity Weakest Link. After he had many interesting things to say about his appearance on Fox's game show, Dr. Will was asked a single unrelated question. Are fans going to see him on other shows in the future? In response to that question, Dr. Will explained that he would like to continue to make appearances on shows that would allow him to test his mind, including the possibility of competing on Celebrity Weakest Link again.

“The one area where I still have a lot of fire in my belly, is for shows that involve IQ. So if there's a if there's a Celebrity Weakest Link All-Stars, I would definitely do that, especially anything for charity, I would love to.”

While talking about his interest in making another Celebirty Weakest Link appearance, Dr. Will's enthusiasm for that show was very obvious. However, while he was discussing other shows he would like to compete on, there is one that he clearly was the most passionate about. On top of saying he wants to compete on Celebrity Jeopardy!, Dr. Will stated that he wants to put that idea out in the universe, clearly hoping that it could soon become a reality. Dr. Will also expressed his interest in competing on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune and his belief he would excel on both of those game shows.

"Celebrity Jeopardy!, I really want to put that on the universe. I am going to call it now that I can do really well with that. If you're a celebrity and you get on, and I'm on Celebrity Jeopardy!, and you're on my episode, just walk out if you see me because I'm going to be a buzzsaw on that show. And something like Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, I think I could do well too."

When Dr. Will was asked which shows he may compete on in the future, he instantly spoke about his belief that he is not at a point in his life to compete on the big reality competition shows.

"You know, the true unscripted competitive reality television is a young person's game. For my age, I'm in great physical shape. I'm in a great emotional shape. But you know, I no longer have the ability to flirt as a strategy. I you know, I can't, I can compete physically with people. But I you know, I can't compete with a 25 year old on a physical challenges nearly as well as I could."

While continuing to discuss the topic, Dr. Will ruled out competing on a regular season of one specific reality show, Big Brother. “I'm not going to be that person who goes back to their high school and tells everybody, you know, how what a great sports hero they were like, that's just that's not who I am. So I'm not going to go back and compete as a regular contestant on Big Brother. I just don't see that in the works.” Dr. Will then addressed the possibility of competing on Survivor or The Amazing Race.

“There's been talks of Survivor. You know, I don't know. I love tropical settings, but I don't know if that would be a good fit for me. The Amazing Race is, you know, again, I'd like to travel the world on my own accord. I don't want people pushing me off of buildings and things to do it."

Unlike his comment about Big Brother, Dr. Will notably didn't rule out the chance that he could go on CBS' other two reality show behemoths. As a result, GeekSided's interviewer pointed out that he seemed to have left the door cracked to those opportunities. When the subject of there still being a possibility of him going on Survivor or The Amazing Race was brought uo, Dr. Will expressed that he wasn't ruling that out. “I'm very open-minded."

While that statement is tantalizing, fans who would love to see Dr. Will on either of those shows shouldn't get that excited. When asked about competing on huge reality shows like that, Dr. Will clearly downplayed those chances while stating he doesn't want fans to get their hopes up. "I don't want to mislead you."

Even though Dr. Will clearly is interested in still making TV appearances in the future, he told GeekSided that he is dedicated to his medical career.

"I am retired from competitive reality television, but I'm not, I'm not retired from trivia shows, or shows that involve IQ. And I'm always, you know, my career is really laser-focused on the organization I work with and my colleagues in the phenomenal aesthetic industry, but everyone has hobbies. And mine happens to be reality television. So, you know, my hobbies are alive and well."
