Attention 911 fans! ABC just dropped a batch of brand-new photos for the upcoming spinoff 911: Nashville, and they’re guaranteed to raise your excitement for the series even higher. The procedural drama is slated to premiere on ABC on Oct. 9, so it makes sense why the network is whetting fans’ appetites right now with these first glimpses of the show.

Of course, we've already looked them over, and we couldn’t help but notice something right away. Based on some of the photos, 911: Nashville seems to have similar vibes to other amazing shows like Chicago Fire and Yellowstone. Given that the spinoff mainly focuses on firefighters, it shouldn't be surprising that it'll remind you of Chicago Fire. That's pretty much what that popular NBC show centers around as well.

However, you’re probably thinking to yourself: What in the world could a show about first responders have in common with a rugged, family-driven drama like Yellowstone? Well, that'll be the western aspect. Surprisingly, 911: Nashville even features horses, adding a western flair that sets it apart from typical first-responder dramas while giving off strong Yellowstone vibes.

The picture above is of 911: Nashville stars Jessica Capshaw and Michael Provost. Capshaw portrays the role of Blythe Hart, while Provost takes on the role of Ryan Hart. Blythe is Don's wife and Ryan's mother. Ryan works at the local fire station, where his dad, Don, is the captain. So, why is there a horse in this photo? Well, Blythe is in the horse racing business and Ryan is a cowboy. It looks like in this picture, Ryan may have caught Blythe tending to her horses and decided to start a conversation with her.

It'll be interesting to see how 911: Nashville treats the horse racing storyline. Will it get as much attention as the high-stakes emergencies at the fire station, or will it be more of a side storyline? The show is set in Nashville, so it’s only natural that elements of the city’s culture, like horse racing, will play a role in the story.

In this photo, Chris O'Donnell and Provost are pictured. O'Donnell stars as the main character in the series, Don Hart. Don is described as a seasoned firefighter with a past in rodeo riding. It looks like in this picture, Don and Ryan are on the site of an emergency, likely responding to a fire or rescue situation.

However, it doesn't look like there were any major casualties because their facial expressions don't show the intense fear or panic typically associated with a life-threatening situation. But who knows? The only way to know what really happens is by tuning in to the procedural drama when it starts airing on ABC.

Ryan Murphy, Tim Minear, and Rashad Raisani are the creators of 911: Nashville. The plot follows the lives of Nashville’s first responders as they tackle life-threatening emergencies, from fires and accidents to natural disasters. Also in the cast are LeAnn Rimes, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Hailey Kilgore, Juani Feliz, Hunter McVey, Gregory Alan Williams, MacKenzie Porter, and Tim Matheson.

Award-winning country singer Kane Brown is also in the cast as a guest star, but he'll play as himself instead of a fictional character.
