Since Big Brother has been around since the year 2000, the CBS show, which is hosted by Julie Chen Moonves, has a lengthy history. Thanks to the fact that so many people have gotten to compete in the reality show's house, there are several Big Brother veterans that the show's dedicated fans love.
While some Big Brother legends stick to giving current players advice, and some of the show's icons have pledged not to compete on the series again, many former players seem like they would come back for another round. With that in mind, it makes sense to consider why it seems like it is time for Big Brother to get another All-Stars season.

Why it is time for another Big Brother All-Stars season
In 2006, fans got to watch the first Big Brother All-Stars during the seventh season of the reality show. That season brought together many iconic players, including Will Kirby, Mike "Boogie" Malin, Janelle Pierzina, Danielle Reyes, Marcellas Reynolds, and more. Since that season was a huge hit and had some iconic gameplay, it seemed like a no-brainer that there would be another season with all returning players soon thereafter. Despite that, the next Big Brother All-Stars, which was the show's 22nd season, didn't air until 2020.
Looking back at the history of the show, it is staggering that there was a 14-year gap between the first and second Big Brother All-Stars seasons. In fact, I have to say, that seems like it was a foolish mistake for the team behind the reality show. With that in mind, I would argue that big of a gap definitely shouldn't happen again. Instead, I believe that Big Brother All-Stars 3 should happen very soon.
If CBS decided to put together another All-Stars season soon, that would seem perfect to me for three main reasons. First off, since it will only be the show's third full season to feature all returning players, the concept will still feel fresh and exciting for fans. Secondly, the show's casting team could include players from throughout the show's 25-year history, so there are ample people to choose from. Finally, an All-Star season would make Big Brother feel more competitive in the modern reality show landscape.
These days, there are a slew of reality shows that bring together celebrities from across the genre. For example, The Traitors, House of Villains, and The Challenge are only three examples of reality shows that bring together star-studded casts. On top of that, Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans will soon premiere with an all-star cast from across that show's history. Now, it is time for Big Brother to prove that it can build a cast of legends.
