There's some exciting news to share for fans of Netflix's latest binge-able reality dating series Age of Attraction and congratulations are definitely in order. Well, not for many of the couples from the first season, but for the hosts and the series itself. Following a successful debut earlier this spring, Netflix has officially renewed Age of Attraction season 2.

The streaming serviced picked up the reality series for a second season less than one week after the first season finale dropped on March 25 and the day before the reunion takes place on co-host Nick Viall's podcast The Viall Files. The early renewal of Age of Attraction surely signals that Netflix will be positioning the show as one of its staple unscripted series like Love is Blind.

Along with the renewal, Netflix boasts that after its arrival, Age of Attraction quickly won audiences over with its unique premise. Since premiering on March 11, the series hasn't left the Top 10 with each consecutive weekly drop. Additionally, the series has charted within the Top 10 in 26 countries around the world. It's become a global sensation, and it's clear to see why.

Age of Attraction season 2 happening on Netflix

While Netflix has tackled all kinds of messy dating arrangements with shows like Love is Blind, Too Hot to Handle, Dated and Related, and more, the new show navigates the concept of an age gap and if the difference plays a role in making love connections. Age of Attraction finds singles between 22 and 60 looking for love, but age isn't a consideration when pairing these singles together.

The dating experiment is hosted by The Bachelor alum Nick Viall and his wife Natalie Joy, who guide the singles through the series and will be returning to host season 2. As of the renewal, Netflix hasn't shared any other details about the follow-up season, including who the new singles will be or, more importantly, when we can expect to binge-watch the next batch of exciting new episodes.

Along with the renewal, executive producers and Velvet Hammer Media co-founders Jennifer O'Connell and Rebecca Quinn shared a statement that teased the premise being pushed "even further" in Age of Attraction season 2:

"We love concepts that are impossible to look away from and Age of Attraction nailed that from day one. It’s messy, it’s real and that’s what makes it fun to watch. Huge thanks to Netflix for embracing this dating experiment with us. The response has been incredible, and we're excited to push it even further in season 2," O'Connell and Quinn told Tudum.

Prior to Age of Attraction scoring an official renewal on March 31, rumors had began swirling that Netflix had already move forward on a second season when reports of a casting call for season 2 began circulating on social media. The company responsible for casting shared a post looking for contestants to be in season 2 just days before Netflix made the renewal announcement.

It's a no brainer for Netflix to bet big on the hot new reality series. The streaming service often launches reality series, whether they are centered on dating or otherwise, but nothing has connected with a global audience recently quite like Age of Attraction. For now, we can expect the series to return with season 2 in early 2027, but we'll share more details as they're revealed.
