The twenty-eighth season of the popular long-running singing competition series The Voice hasn't even come out yet, but it looks like NBC is already making moves behind the scenes to bring the show back for season 29.

Honestly, did anyone really think one of the network’s most successful and enduring shows was going anywhere anytime soon? With a loyal fanbase, consistently high ratings, and an ever-evolving roster of superstar coaches, we could see The Voice continuing to dominate NBC’s primetime lineup for many more seasons to come.

Although The Voice season 29 hasn't been confirmed yet, recent filming updates and ticket listings strongly suggest that NBC is already moving forward with another season behind the scenes. According to the ticket site, 1iota, filming for the Blind Auditions for both season 28 and season 29 is scheduled for July 2025. The site lists The Voice season 28 tapings for July 7, 8, 9, and 10, and season 29 tapings for July 21, 22, and 23.

All of the tapings are set to take place in Universal City, California, and fans can now request free audience tickets for these tapings via the 1iota website. You must be at least 18 years old to attend. This isn't the first time The Voice has doubled up on production. Last year, Blind Auditions for seasons 26 and 27 were also filmed back-to-back in July. That said, it is likely that NBC has quietly greenlit season 29 even if an official renewal announcement hasn’t been made just yet.

The Voice season 28 is confirmed to start airing on NBC in the fall of 2025. Carson Daly, who has hosted every installment since the show's debut in 2011, returns to host. However, he will be joined by a different panel of coaches.

Unlike season 27, which consisted of a coaching panel of John Legend, Michael Bublé, Kelsea Ballerini, and Adam Levine, The Voice season 28 will only see Bublé return to the big red chair. Joining him for the new season as coaches are Niall Horan, Reba McEntire, and Snoop Dogg. All three have also served as coaches on the show in the past.

We can't wait to see all the new contestants bring their talent, passion, and unique voices to the stage as they compete for $100,000 and a record deal with Universal Music Group. If The Voice season 28 ends up being anything like the previous season, fans can expect plenty of show-stopping performances that will keep them glued to their screens.
