The Survivor 50 cast is here! Jeff Probst and CBS rolled out the full cast list on Wednesday, May 28, one week after the Survivor 48 finale.
There will be 24 Survivor players returning to play Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans. While fans didn't get a chance to vote on the cast, we have been voting on specific elements of the game like twists, idols, fire-making, and the after show vs. live finale format.

There are a few players from that list that I just have to mention. Mike White, the runner-up from Survivor: David vs. Goliath, is one of my favorite Survivor players of all time. He's also the writer and star of one of my favorite movies, School of Rock, and creator of one of my favorite shows, The White Lotus. He's definitely someone to watch this season, for sure.
We also have a lot of players from Survivor 48, Survivor 47, Survivor 46, and Survivor 45 on this cast with 48 winner Kyle and 45 winner Dee, along with Kamilla, Joe, Genevieve, Charlie, Q, Tiffany, and Emily. Kyle and Dee are the only returning winners who are playing this season, so they could be targeted early.
And, of course, we also have some of the original stars returning, too, with Jenna Lewis Doughtery from Survivor: Borneo, aka season 1, and Colby Donaldson from Survivor: The Australian Outback, season 2. Jenna and Colby played a few more times, as well.
That group I mentioned doesn't even include some of the other legends, including Cirie, Ozzy, Coach, Stephanie, and Aubry. It's kind of mind-blowing that we're going to watch those players on Survivor again in less than a year. I can't wait!
Honestly, I'm excited about this group of players. Did the cast accomplish the mission and headache that casting set up for themselves with this giant, epic, huge celebratory season that honors every era of Survivor? No! And, that's probably going to be okay as long as it's fun! Will it be fun? It sure seems like it's going to be. There are so many big names, awesome competitors, diabolical players, and fun personalities. It has all the makings of an incredibly chaotic season, but it should be a really good time if Jeff and the gang play their cards right. No one is going to be safe!
Survivor 50 is currently filming now, but we'll have to wait until February 2026 until the new season premieres!
