It's time to celebrate! Sullivan's Crossing has just been given the green light for a fourth installment. The CW officially renewed the fan-favorite drama following its breakout success on Netflix, where it quickly climbed the charts, racking up millions of views and drawing in a whole new wave of devoted fans in just its first week on the streaming platform.
The season 4 renewal was announced just ahead of the season 3 finale, which airs tonight on The CW at 8/7c. According to Deadline, the new season is expected to arrive sometime in 2026, with 10 more episodes on the way. Should anyone really be surprised by the show's renewal? Not really. CW President Brad Schwartz called it an “easy” decision, noting that Sullivan’s Crossing is one of the network’s top three shows in both total viewership and the key 18–49 demographic.

The show’s recent success on Netflix only solidified its staying power, proving that audiences are continuing to find and fall in love with this heartwarming series across various platforms. The first two seasons of Sullivan’s Crossing recently became available on Netflix U.S. (July 8), and it debuted at No. 3 on the platform’s weekly charts.
It also managed to rack up 3 million views and 22 million hours watched in its first week on the platform. As of July 16, it's currently holding tight to the No. 1 spot on Netflix's top 10 TV shows list. We'd say that Sullivan's Crossing is in a pretty good position right now, riding a wave of growing popularity that spans both traditional broadcast and streaming audiences. If you weren't aware, Sullivan's Crossing airs first on The CW in the U.S. and on CTV in Canada. Netflix acquired the streaming rights to the show.
The third season of the romantic drama series is confirmed to be released on Netflix sometime in August of this year. After the upcoming fourth season finishes airing, it's also expected to eventually land on the streaming platform. Don't fret. We'll be here to keep you posted on all the latest updates.
Sullivan's Crossing was created by Roma Roth (Virgin River).
