Stumble Exclusive: Courteney lays down some new rules as the squad prepares for Daytona

As Stumble races towards its finale, the team’s competition in Daytona is fast approaching and Courteney is laying down some ground rules that sends some into a spiral.

NBC’s Stumble is similar to the fake documentary shows like St. Denis (which is also on NBC), but unlike them, too. What makes this show different is how it seems to get better with every episode by removing things that could get tired or repetitive, and adding things to make the characters and the show better.

For example, seeing clips of Boone’s football injury and Madonna falling asleep because of her narcolepsy was shown a lot in the first couple of episodes. As the season progressed, it was acknowledged, but not a focal point of their characters. Whenever it was mentioned, it became something of a joke or someone they’ve overcome. As the season gets closer to the cheer competition in Dayton (10 weeks until it happens as of episode 10), you can expect more of that going forward.

Courteney’s cheer squad is pumped for Daytona. However, as expected, there are going to be some issues before they get there as seen in our exclusive look at episode 11:

As seen in GeekSided's exclusive first-look clip from episode 11, Courteney tells her team that they can’t risk anything bad happening. This leads to her pointing out the many issues that have happened throughout this season, like injury, being arrested, and general shenanigans. While it’s likely that they’ll make it to the competition, something will certainly go wrong in this episode.

It’s unclear if someone will get injured, do something dumb (I’m looking at you, Steven), or if Tammy will try to sabotage them. If we’re being honest, all of the above can happen. Thankfully, NBC's Stumble has great creators. That means no matter how bad things get for the characters and their goals, the show will be entertaining. And with the season winding down, you can expect emotional moments that lead into season 2.
