Blackpool is just two weeks away for Strictly Come Dancing so you can bet that the standards of dancing and judging have gotten that much higher. The competition is also at its halfway point now, which means we're probably going to see some series-defining dances in the weeks ahead. And after Lewis and Katya made history with their Couples Choice last week, we're ready to see what the rest of the routines look like.

Strictly viewers also said goodbye to Ellie and Vito after they went out on a high with a spooky Halloween Tango. Halloween Week was certainly of one of its highest standards ever, so it goes without saying that viewers are excited to see what the rest of the competition looks like. And with that, we're onto Week 7, which has some absolutely awesome routines to showcase.

Speaking of which, who rose to the occasion on Strictly Week 7, and who might be in danger of falling into the Dance-Off. Let's jump into the recap and find out.

Strictly spoilers and results: Week 7 Leaderboard

Strictly absolutely held nothing back in its Week 7 spectacular. We had a playlist that featured the likes of Taylor Swift, Diana Ross, Ed Sheeran, and Queen - ensuring that we were tapping our own feet all night. There were plenty of iconic routines that were scored to them too, as fans had plenty to say about this week's installment.

George and Alexis looked to get their spark back with the Viennese Waltz, bringing George back to ballroom for the first time in too long, and it worked. Meanwhile, Amber and Nikita got the party going with a Salsa that had all of our jaws on the floor and earned the couple their first 10s. Vicky and Kai topped the Leaderboard with a powerful Tango but the real story of the evening was Balvinder and Julian's emotional Couples Choice that earned them their highest scores.

Here are the scores that each of the dances were given by the judges, and the Leaderboard that was left at the end of the episode.

  • Vicky and Kai danced the Tango - 9, 10, 10, 10 = 39
  • Amber and Nikita danced the Salsa - 9, 10, 9, 10 = 38
  • Lewis and Katya danced the Cha Cha - 8, 9, 9, 9 = 35
  • Karen and Carlos danced the Charleston - 8, 10, 8, 9 = 35
  • Balvinder and Julian danced their Couples Choice - 7, 9, 9, 9 = 34
  • George and Alexis danced the Viennese Waltz - 8, 8, 9, 9 = 34
  • Alex and Johannes danced the Paso Doble - 7, 8, 7, 8 = 30
  • Harry and Karen danced the Samba - 7, 8, 7, 8 = 30
  • La Voix and Aljaž danced the Foxtrot - 6, 8, 7, 8 = 29

Who is in danger on Strictly Come Dancing 2025 Week 7?

Well, what a night of dancing that was! When the setlist of songs and dances were released, fans knew it would be a big night - and it certainly was. There were plenty of memorable routines this week and that has, of course, made predicting who ends up in the Dance-Off a much trickier situation.

We've seen the importance of ties this series, as multiple ties on the Leaderboard has created some shock Dance-Offs (remember when Amber and Nikita ended up there from second on the Leaderboard?!). There aren't as many ties this week, so it's less likely that a major surprise like that could happen. And yet, in previous seasons, Week 7 is the week that involves the biggest shock Dance-Off (Aston vs. Mollie in 2017, anyone?).

There are three ties on the Leaderboard this week and that means that the couples at the bottom of it aren't in as much danger as they normally might be. With that, fan-favorite Alex Kingston should be safe as the public will no doubt rally to save her. She also has five points instead of the typical two allotted to the couple second from bottom (due to the ties) and that actually gives her more of a chance of escaping any potential Dance-Off situations.

Right now, the most likely Dance-Off is looking like it will be La Voix and Aljaž vs. Harry and Karen due to both their placement at the bottom and the fact that there are a lot of well-established fan-favorites in the middle of the Leaderboard. Balvinder and Julian also had a real moment tonight and they are much higher on the Leaderboard than they have been in the past so that could be enough to lift them out of any danger zone.

There is a slight chance that the likes of Amber and Nikita and Lewis and Katya could end up there with Harry or La Voix due to the fact that there are less points between the couples at the top and the bottom. We've seen it happen before with Amber, so we'll have to wait and see if it happens again. Hopefully it won't as she was fantastic tonight too. Stay tuned!
