It's no surprise that Strictly Come Dancing has started heating up. The competition has reached its halfway point and we've already had some shock Dance-Offs leading up to that, so you can bet that fans are on-edge waiting to see if there will be any more in the series.
The competition has offered up Halloween Week, Icons Week, and now it has set the stage for Blackpool. The question is: Who will be making it to the Tower Ballroom? After Week 8's Saturday Night show left us with a very unique Leaderboard, quite literally anything could happen on the Results Show.
But after Amber and Nikita's captivating Paso Doble, Lewis and Katya's feisty Tango, and Alex and Johannes' stunning Waltz, what will go down on Sunday night's Results Show? To find out, here's an early preview of the upcoming episode of the series, what time to expect it at, and what you can expect from the results itself.
Strictly Week 8's Results Show has a familiar start time
Strictly Come Dancing Week 8's Results Show airs on BBC One on Sunday Night, November 16 2025, at 7:15 pm GMT. It's back to its usual start time after its slightly earlier timeslot last week, which is another indicator that less time is needed as the competition heats up and there are less results to call out. Nevertheless, it will air after Kingdom season 1 episode 2.
Taking all of that into account, the episode will have its typical runtime of 45 minutes, wrapping up around 8:00 p.m. GMT. As it's pre-recorded (as always), it won't run over time. And even better, after the heavily criticised new format of the Results Show this year, the production team has seemingly listened to fans by restructuring it to allow for less results segments and a catch-up chat with all of the safe couples - as it should!
What you can expect from this week's Results Show and the Dance-Off
This week's Sunday night episode of Strictly has some treats in store for fans. For starters, Olly Murs will be the guest performer, so you can bet that fans will enjoy that - especially as a number of our favourite professional dancers will no doubt be performing throughout his song. Meanwhile, the professionals will also collaborate with Diversity for a special group performance
As for the dreaded Dance-Off? That's going to be the most intriguing part of the show as always, but it's going to be even more intriguing this week - and not just because it's the week before Blackpool. The way that the Leaderboard has worked out this week makes it hard to predict who could end up in the Dance-Off. Statistically, the bottom two on the Leaderboard have only been the actual bottom two once in this series so far, so it's hard to automatically predict that outcome this time - especially as there is technically a bottom three this week (Balvinder and Julian, and Vicky and Kai are both joint-bottom, while George and Alexis are second-from-bottom).
Balvinder has appeared in the Dance-Off before, so her placement at the bottom of the Leaderboard this week is less than ideal. Meanwhile, La Voix isn't safe as houses after her Dance-Off appearance last week, as she's currently in the middle of the Leaderboard. Amber may have had that Dance-Off blip in Week 5 but her placement stop the Leaderboard this week pretty much confirms she won't be in the bottom two this week either. And with that, we wait for what is undoubtedly going to be a compelling Results Show!
Sit tight: It's almost show time!
