It's Semi-Final weekend of Strictly Come Dancing - and if the Saturday night show was anything to go by, we're in for a tense Results Show. Yep, that's right, Amber and Nikita, Balvinder and Julian, George and Alexis, and Karen and Carlos all took on two full dances for the first time this series and it proved to be unexpectedly tight on the Leaderboard.
There were, however, no ties this weekend as the judges perhaps learned from the shock of last weekend's Dance-Off (which saw frontrunners Lewis and Katya eliminated). Although fans were particularly critical of the near-perfect marks that some routines earned, despite some noticeable mistakes. That's all part of what makes Strictly one of the most engrossing shows on television!
With three places up for grabs in the Final, and one more Dance-Off to go, here's when you can expect the final Results Show of the 2025 series.
Strictly Week 12's Results Show is at the series' new later time
Strictly Come Dancing Week 12's Results Show will air on BBC One on Sunday, December 14, at 7:45 p.m. GMT. This is the same later time slot that last week's Sunday episode aired in, coming 45 minutes later than its usual release time. Although not specified as to why it's on later, it's possible that it could be down to the fact that it serves as a lead-in for the channel's new Doctor Who spinoff The War Between The Land And The Sea, which airs immediately after Strictly.
All that being said, the Results Show will still run for its normal 45 minutes runtime, finishing at the - you guessed it! - later time of 8:30 p.m. By then, we will know which three couples have successfully made it into the Final of Strictly Come Dancing 2025.
What you can expect from the Week 12 Results Show and the Dance-Off
We mentioned above that the Strictly Come Dancing Semi-Final was one of the most tense episodes of the 2025 series thus far. The judges, rather questionably according to fans, didn't place Amber and Nikita atop the Leaderboard, despite them producing stronger quality dances than Karen and Carlos, who ultimately ended up at the top by just one mark. And that has resulted in a Leaderboard that has placed everyone - except Karen and Carlos - in danger.
With that in mind, fans have been worried about their favorites because there is very little room on that Leaderboard (with just a maximum of 4 points). And with the Final in play, there will be so much riding on the inevitable Dance-Off that comes. The question is: Who will make it to the Final?
To lighten the mood, we will also have a festive performance from Kylie Minogue, who is set to perform a Christmas track alongside some of the Strictly pros. That's a must-see moment right there! And FIVE will also be in the house to delight audiences with a performance.
That round of performances will certainly distract us from the red light of the Dance-Off and the high emotions that the final Results Show of the series will produce. But, with the glitterball in sight, all eyes will be watching attentively to see who the Strictly 2025 Finalists are!
