Strictly Come Dancing's Musicals Week special did not disappoint - and that's a good thing considering that it is the Quarter Finals we are talking about here. Although some contestants had some very difficult dances, others took this opportunity who both hands to deliver some of the best routines we have seen across this series.

Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin topped the Strictly Leaderboard with their note-perfect Charleston that will go down in history as one of Musicals Week's very best. However, the moment of the evening belongs to Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon for their beautiful Viennese Waltz moved us all to tears. And while the other contestants did very well, it was those two routines that stood out as the best of the evening.

But how has the public vote affected the results? (More on that here!). Here's when you can tune into the Results Show and what you can expect.

Strictly Week 11's Results Show airs later than usual this Sunday

Strictly Come Dancing Week 11's Results Show will air on BBC One on Sunday, December 7, at 7:45 p.m. GMT. Now, if you've been keeping up with the series this year, you will probably notice that this is 30 minutes later than its typical start time. Although no explicit reason is given for that, Kingdom airs before it this week instead of its usual timeslot after Strictly. It's also worth pointing out that the first episode of Doctor Who spinoff The War Between The Land And The Sea starts as soon as it's over, so BBC may be relying on Strictly's large audience to stick around after for that one.

The episode will still run for its typical 45 minutes runtime, meaning that it will conclude at 8:30 p.m. GMT, with the Doctor Who spinoff immediately airing after that. As the Results Show is pre-recorded on Saturday night and edited ahead of broadcast, there will be no danger of it running over time (or coming in under either).

What you can expect from the Week 11 Results Show and the Dance-Off

The Results Show gets more tense each and every week. It's not surprising considering that there are so few couples left in the competition. But I think it's safe to say that this week in particular will be the most tense of them all - and not just because it's the Quarter Finals. Musicals Week was a delight for viewers, but it left the show with its most chaotic Leaderboard - or, well, maybe second-most chaotic (remember Week 5?!) - of the series.

Amber and Nikita topped the Leaderboard with a world class Charleston that will go down in Strictly history for the sheer quality of it. Meanwhile, Balvinder and Julian, Lewis and Katya, and George and Katya were all joint-second, leaving Karen and Carlos closely behind them in third place. That kind of Leaderboard, with that few points between each of the couples, puts every single couple in the competition at risk. It also returns the power of the Leaderboard to the public, meaning that we could be in for a real shocker of a Dance-Off (for which Motsi has the deciding vote). Those are usually reserved for the Semi-Final, when it's not even that much of a shock anymore at that stage due to the few couples in the competition.

As for what else we can expect? We will probably get a preview of the some of the Semi-Finalists' dances for next week (where they will dance two routines). Look forward to some important conversations with Claudia in the Clauditorium!

The Strictly professionals will also perform a Chicago-inspired number and the cast of Titanique will also be there for a special performance.
