Survivor 48 might be coming to a close on May 21, but it seems the team behind the latest promo for the season finale just ruined a pair of major reveals!

Warning: The following post contains potential spoilers connected to the season 48 finale of Survivor including the identity of the player who will be voted out ahead of the Final Four as well as the winner of one of the final immunity challenges of the season. If you want to avoid having these moments spoiled for you, this is a good time to turn back.

On May 21, a new winner of Survivor will be crowned in a super-sized three-hour finale. During the final episode of the season, fans will witness two more players eliminated from the game as the Final Three are crowned. From there, the power will shift to the hands of the jury as they vote to determine the winner of Survivor 48.

Heading into the finale, there are definitely some players who are positioned better than others, but you never know when a surprise could be coming. Sadly, it seems one will not be coming our way when it comes time for the first elimination of the night.

In a newly released promo for the Survivor 48 finale, we see the jury assembling to witness the fire-making challenge. As is always the case, the jury enters based on the order they were eliminated, with Cedrek leading the pack, followed by Chrissy, David, Star, Mary, and Shauhin. However, Shauhin isn’t the final player we see entering the frame before the promo cuts away. Behind Shauhin is Mitch, and there is no question that it’s Mitch, as we’re able to clearly see him behind Shauhin.

You can watch the spoiler-filled promo below:

This seems to confirm Mitch is eliminated at the first tribal council of the night, which isn’t much of a shock. While it’s unclear how things go down, Mitch is the outsider of the group alongside strong duos who have been loyal to each other from Day 1, with Joe and Eva making up one of the two power duos in the Final Five and Kyle and Kamilla accounting for the second. This makes Mitch an easy target for elimination, and we’re not surprised he is voted out before the Final Four.

Also revealed in the promo is that Kamilla seemingly wins one of the two final individual immunity challenges of the season. Given the way the promo is pieced together, it seems likely she wins the Final Five immunity challenge, which could be what ultimately sealed Mitch’s fate, as Kamilla was safe and Eva likely used her idol on herself, or possibly Joe. Seeing Mitch as a threat due to his strong bond with all of the jury members, the group likely chose to cut him loose before the Final Four, leading to his elimination.

What makes the whole situation even more interesting is that a version of this promo has been airing on CBS ahead of the finale, but the spoiler-filled moments have since been edited out. The CBS promo airing in primetime no longer includes the shot that spoils Mitch’s elimination or Kamilla’s immunity challenge win. So clearly, CBS caught wind of the spoilers within the promo and pulled it back before those key moments could be spoiled for a wider audience.

While the promo does offer up some clues about what will go down in the Survivor 48 finale, those spoilers certainly don’t make us any less excited to see how the final episode of the season unfolds! There are so many ways the finale could play out and we’re eager to see which of the remaining players will make it to the Final 3 and who will be crowned the winner of Survivor 48 when the dust finally settles!

Don’t miss the Survivor 48 finale on Wednesday, May 21, beginning at 8/7c on CBS!
