Bryan Fuller has become one of the biggest names in TV thanks to his work on the likes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Voyager, but there is one major cult hit that you won’t want to forget. It’s all about Pushing Daisies, the dramedy that should have never been canceled.
After two seasons, Pushing Daisies was canceled abruptly. In some good news, it did get a film to wrap things up, but it was still one of those shows that was gone way too soon. Well, there is some exciting and hopeful news, as Fuller has brought up the possibility of it being revived.

Bryan Fuller wants Pushing Daisies season 3 as much as the rest of us
ComicBook had to ask Fuller about the ABC dramedy series while he promoted his new movie Dust Bunny, and he immediately shared something hopeful. He is more than willing to do a third season. In fact, he has a pitch for the third season.
There’s even better news. Fuller confirms that the entire original cast want to come back to the series. So, now the schedules just need to align, and somebody needs to pick up the series. The original cast members aren’t attached to anything major right now, so the stars could align.
Look, we can think of many places this series could work well at, including ABC, who could be big enough to admit it made a mistake back in the late 2010s. There’s a lot today for ABC to admit it was a mistake, with the first season having a 92% score on Rotten Tomatoes and season 2 holding a 100% score. It’s not often that a broadcast series can hold onto that.
Netflix could be another great home for the series. After all, that offers it an international audience, and we all know that this has become a cult phenomenon.

Pushing Daisies is nothing like anything on TV right now
One of the great things about Pushing Daisies is that it doesn’t have a lot of competition right now. The series follows a man called Ned, who has a rare gift of being able to bring the dead back to life with just a touch. However, with the second touch, the people are permanently killed. On top of that, when he does bring someone back to life, the natural order of things needs to be restored, and another person is killed.
As he learns more about his skills, Ned decides to use them for good. He’s able to help solve murders, and while there are plenty of crime dramas out there, this one just adds that extra layer of intrigue and drama.
As of right now, you can stream Pushing Daisies on HBO Max, and we’re ready for a third season.
