Prepare to say goodbye to the Pearson family all over again, except this time, it's much less final. The Emmy Award-winning, hit NBC show This Is Us said farewell after six emotional seasons in May 2022, and ever since, fans have still been trying to recover from six straight years of crying their eyes out. Shortly after the series ended, its arrival on Netflix allowed for the cycle to start all over again.
In January 2024, This Is Us kicked off a trend of Netflix adding shows that hail from under the Disney umbrella, which later included the likes of The Resident, White Collar, Reba, Prison Break, Lost, How I Met Your Mother, and many others. These small-screen favorites found renewed success once they arrived on Netflix, including This Is Us. But time's running out to binge-watch!
This Is Us leaving Netflix in July 2025
According to a removal notice now added to the show's page on Netflix, all six seasons of This Is Us will be removed after Monday, July 7. That's the last day fans have to spend with the Pearsons on Netflix, so if you're in the middle of your binge-watch or you want to sneak in another rewatch before the series departs the platform, there's a little less than a month to go! You can still spend the long Fourth of July weekend watching This Is Us, but after that, it's off to another platform.

Fortunately, the complete series remains available to stream on Hulu, and if you have the Disney+/Hulu streaming bundle, you can also watch all six seasons on Disney+. When Netflix acquired the rights to stream the hit NBC series, This Is Us never left Hulu. It's expected to remain on the platform, though we'll have to see if there will be any additional streaming homes after Netflix.
It's no surprise that even though This Is Us had only been over for a little under two years when it arrived on Netflix, the series received another boost. No matter how much time has elapsed, we just can't quit the Pearson family and their heartwarming, and frequently heart-wrenching, generational story of love, loss, and legacy. The most resilient family on TV next to the Bravermans, who are a fellow NBC family from the underrated drama Parenthood (which is also on Hulu and a must-watch!).
Aside from its streaming bump and enduring standing as one of the all-time great family drama series, This Is Us also remains alive in the rewatch podcast That Was Us hosted by series stars Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, and Chris Sullivan. The trio relive every episode and each tear-jerking moment featuring some special guests along the way.
While some fans will definitely be bummed that the beloved series won't be on an easily accessible streaming service like Netflix anymore, This Is Us isn't in any danger of becoming lost in the digital age. There are shows that will always have a place in pop culture no matter what. We'll be remembering the Jack's death and future Rebecca sagas for many, many more years to come.
