Good news, gladiators, ABC's popular political thriller series Scandal from creator Shonda Rhimes is making its way back to Netflix soon! Starting on June 17 in the United States, Netflix subscribers will be able to catch up with our favorite "fixer" as all seven seasons of the show (124 episodes) are made available.

Debuting in 2012, Scandal became a huge hit for ABC, earning star Kerry Washington an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama. She was also nominated for a Golden Globe and a SAG Award for her performance.

The series begins with Olivia (Washington) moving away from her prestigious White House job as a media consultant to Olivia running her own crisis management firm alongside her associates. But while she focuses on her new job, Olivia cannot help get entangled with political issues as she maintains a connection to President Fitzgerald Grant III (Tony Goldwyn), the man that also happens to be Olivia's main love interest despite the fact that he is married to First Lady Mellie Grant (Bellamy Young).

Anyone who enjoys wild and soapy dramas like Revenge, The Affair, and The Good Wife should consider Scandal a must-watch. It's one of those shows that consistently keeps you engaged and on edge from start to finish with cliffhangers and plot twists galore. While some seasons and twists certainly work better than others, in general, people loved the addictive nature of the series.

When your mind is racing and you need to relax (well, at least from real world problems), Scandal is the show you want. You'll be so caught up in the web of cheating, lies, political scheming, and assassination plots you won't be able to think about anything else.

Scandal also stars Darby Stanchfield, Jeff Perry, Joshua Malina, Scott Foley, Joe Morton, Guillermo Diaz, and Katie Lowes. If you're a frequent Shondaland watcher then you'll probably recognize many familiar faces from the cast as there has been plenty of crossover between the casts of this show, Grey's Anatomy, and How to Get Away with Murder.

Remember those glory days when ABC would air its "Thank God It's Thursday" lineup (#TGIT), featuring the three aforementioned Shondaland series? You can almost recreate it now if you have a Netflix sub as both Scandal and Grey's Anatomy will be available. Unfortunately, How to Get Away with Murder is no longer on Netflix, though you can watch it on Prime Video and Hulu.

Scandal begins streaming on Netflix on June 17. The series is also currently streaming on Tubi for free (with ads).
