NBC's One Chicago Universe is expanding this fall with a new addition to the franchise

NBC’s powerhouse One Chicago universe is about to get even bigger, and it's not another spinoff. Beyond the gripping storylines of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago PD, a fresh addition to the franchise is arriving, bringing fans closer than ever before with exclusive behind-the-scenes access, in-depth interviews, and insider stories that pull back the curtain on the making of the shows. For the first time ever, the franchise is stepping off the screen and into your ears with the launch of the official One Chicago Podcast.

The announcement was made at the ATX TV Festival by actors Steven Weber (Chicago Med) and Marina Squerciati (Chicago PD) during the One Chicago panel on May 30. This is incredible news for fans eager to dive deeper into the world they love, offering a front-row seat to the creative energy, untold stories, and unforgettable moments that bring the One Chicago universe to life each week.

As reported by Variety, the One Chicago Podcast is produced by Wolf Entertainment and USG Audio, making it an official, high-quality companion to the shows. New episodes of the podcast will launch weekly on Thursdays throughout the upcoming fall TV season, offering fans content such as interviews with the cast and crew of all three shows, behind-the-scenes insights, exclusive stories about stunts and storylines, and segments that invite fans to engage directly with the One Chicago universe like never before. Fans won’t just listen passively. They’ll get chances to participate in regular segments, making the experience interactive and engaging.

A host for the podcast has not yet been announced, but is expected to bring insider knowledge, making each episode a must-listen for fans eager to explore the One Chicago universe in greater depth.
