The LEGO Masters Jr. season 1 finale is here, and it’s time for a war with dragons. Well, a war with dragon building.
Yes, move over House of the Dragon, as the young competitors in LEGO Masters Jr. are going head-to-head to create dragon heads. The more intricate they are, the better chance they have of winning.
The episode itself isn’t Game of Thrones related, though, so you don’t need to worry about the series getting inappropriate for the young Master Builders. Instead, the inspiration is from Ninjago: Dragons Rising!, which certainly explains the other elements of their builds.

The dragon build of a lifetime in LEGO Masters Jr.
The season 1 finale puts the three remaining teams to the test. They’ll need to create a mysterious but impressive dragon, and from there, create a build that shows off its incredible powers. Dragons are known for their spark, their steam, and of course, their fire, but they can also be known for their colors and their grace.
How do you fit all that into one build? That’s the mission, and we have a sneak peek of the three teams as they go head-to-head in their build.
There is one particular team that stands out from the rest, and it turns out that they may have an advantage, as their skill is dragon-building.
Take a look at the sneak peek:
A beautiful blue dragon
Yes, it is certainly an impressive dragon head. I haven’t seen anything of Ninjago, so I’m not sure what the dragons look like, but I have seen plenty of Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, and even various animations of the past, like Sleeping Beauty. I know the magnificence of dragons, and Will has managed to create something out of a fantasy book.
It’s not all about the dragon head, though. There is so much more that goes into a build, and Will has to hope that his teammate, Crosby, and celebrity adult Andy Richter are able to create the rest of the masterpiece.
The other teams are certainly going to feel the pressure, though. You can see how Will is off to show off his dragon to the other two boys, but the girls are trying to stay focused on their own builds. Sometimes, the quiet ones are the ones to watch out for the most, and that could be the case here.
At the same time, it's all fun competition. We've seen how supportive teams have been in LEGO Masters Jr. in the past, and they're all great sports, showing what being a good competitor is all about.
LEGO Masters Jr. airs tonight at 8/7c on FOX.
