There are certain things from LEGO Masters that have definitely never happened. Or have they? That’s up for debate in the latest episode of the series.
We have a sneak peek of LEGO Masters season 5, episode 9, and host Will Arnett is surprised that one saying has never been uttered before. Who’s going to tell him?
‘It all comes down to this’ in LEGO Masters
The sneak peek brings us to the hour mark, with just one hour for the final four competitors to complete their contraption. They will need to create a mechanism that will take a ping-pong ball from one side of the studio to the other, and naturally, it needs to include storytelling within the craftsmanship.
There are sure to be a lot of debates over how to make certain elements work. The pairs will need to trust each other when they run into problems, and they need to be brave and bold at the same time.
“It all comes down to this,” as Arnett is surprised hasn’t been said before. Or maybe it has…
Take a look at the sneak peek:
Yes, this is a phrase Arnett has definitely uttered before on LEGO Masters, and we get some great clips of when it’s been said in the past. One thing I love about these flashbacks is that we see the evolution of Arnett’s mustache at the same time.
LEGO Master judges Amy Corbett and Jamie Berard need to decide whether they are going to let Arnett know that he may have these thoughts a little wrong. In the end, I guess they decide not to tell him and just to let him have his “win.” Everyone needs it now and then.
While all of this is just a bit of fun, for the contestants, it really does all come down to the last hour of the build. This is the penultimate episode of the season, with it all to play for in the finale next week. Who will end up coming out on top?
This has been an action-packed season, with a lot of surprises, highs, and lows. There have been arguments and disagreements, but at the same time, there have been some surprising moments between the groups. This episode is sure to push them all to their limits.
Check out the synopsis for LEGO Masters season 5, episode 9:
"The four remaining teams compete for a spot in the finale, where each team is tasked with building a mechanism that successfully moves a ping-pong ball from one-side of the studio to the other. Combining intentional storytelling with technical craftsmanship, builders have to be brave, bold, and unique."
LEGO Masters airs on Mondays at 8/7c on FOX.
