As the networks are rolling out their premiere dates for the Fall 2025-2026 season, FOX just joined the parade. It released the dates for their returning shows, including its Animation Domination schedule. The best part is that we'll be reunited with four of the families sooner rather than later.
In essence, Sunday nights are going to be a lot funnier and the perfect way to kick off the week!
Leading the night and rightfully so on September 28 will be the season 37 premiere of The Simpsons! It will then be followed by season 2 of Fox's latest animated comedy, Universal Basic Guys, with the next hour being dedicated to Krapopolis and Bob's Burgers, which will wrap up the block.
Unfortunately, fans will have to wait a little longer for the return of Family Guy and American Dad!, with the latter being re-acquired by FOX earlier this year. We can expect these Seth MacFarlane-created shows to be back-to-back on the schedule, and if my prediction proves correct, they'll be paired with Bob's Burgers and The Simpsons for the first time in over a decade, bringing the original Animation Domination block to light.
As for those wondering about The Great North and its season 6 status, there haven't been any updates at the time of this writing.
FOX drops teasers for shows returning in September
Fans will be subjected to a lot more zany adventures and shenanigans from Homer and his family, UBG's Hank and Mark Hoagie, the Belchers from Bob's Burgers, and infuriating the Gods in Krapopolis, which is something that one shouldn't do realistically, but the material creates a hilarious outcome.
Ahead of the September 28 premieres, FOX released teasers for the four shows, as if to amplify the promotion and get viewers prepared.

All times are set to Eastern Standard Time.
The Simpsons season 37
Season 37 additionally marks the 800th episode celebration, which will launch sometime in 2026! I know I have said this before, and I'm going to voice it again, but as a long-time fan (and probably one of the firsts), nothing excites me more than The Simpsons (and other favorite shows) achieving great and deserved milestones.
And things are about to get even juicier in Springfield, with the annual "Treehouse of Horror" Halloween special to be even more "terrifying."
"In the season 37 premiere of The Simpsons, Lisa discovers Marge’s vintage clothes from the 90s and is welcomed into the school’s elite fashion club. But to feed their hunger for retro looks, the thrifters break the law — becoming a fashionista bling ring. Season 37 also brings another chilling fright-fest in “Treehouse of Horror XXXVI,” where 1970s Springfield is menaced by a grease monster that feeds on human fat, Krusty makes a deal with the devil on his live Halloween special, and in a poseable plastic post-apocalyptic future, Bart and Lisa fight for the future of humanity. In other Season 37 stories, Homer becomes addicted to “Dad TV,” Bart and Professor Frink travel to an island of billionaire body-hackers, and a disgraced Superintendent Chalmers creates a line of skin care for men."
Universal Basic Guys season 2
I'll admit it, but I wasn't too keen on UBS when it premiered, as it took away Family Guy's timeslot and pushed its season 23 premiere to midseason, making us wait until February 2025. But soon enough, the Hoagies grew on me, due to their weird brotherly bond and antics. We're in for more in the upcoming third season.
"In season 2 of Universal Basic Guys, Mark, unwilling to admit that he forgot to pay a utility bill, fully commits to taking the family off the grid instead of paying a late fee. When Darren shows interest in playing hockey, Mark goes all-in to assemble the worst team of all time to build up his confidence. Mark and Hank go in on a racehorse together and have to come up with a plan to recoup the worst investment of their lives."
Krapopolis season 3
If you think ruling an ancient Roman city is hard enough, imagine doing it with a dysfunctional family. Things are about to get even more challenging, as the reign pressures will finally get under Tyrannis's skin, and he tries to set things right with his citizens.
In season 3 of Krapopolis, Tyrannis holds the world's first democratic elections, which is a terrible idea, while Deliria gets herself caught in a web of lies as she tries to get even with the gosspiy gods who cast her off Mt. Olympus. Shlub wants a forbidden boba and mobilizes an army to help him get it, while Tyrannis, wanting to show that he’s a man of the people, organizes the world’s first potluck supper."
Bob's Burgers season 16
Bob's Burgers will be the only show from the Animation Domination summer lineup to premiere with new episodes in September. The New Jersey-based Belchers will be facing lots of new adventures with well-meaning family time broiled in, and the kids-Tina, Gene, and Louise- will only strengthen their sibling bond by becoming more engaged in school activities.
"In season 16 of Bob’s Burgers, Bob and Linda are on the verge of a big decision, which brings up memories of when the restaurant first opened. Meanwhile, the kids embark on a new musical project. Linda becomes concerned when Gayle turns her love life into a performance art piece. Louise and Gene try to help Tina clear her name after she is fired as a Hall Monitor."
If you can't catch the live premieres, Hulu will drop the episodes the next day.
