It’s hard to believe we’re so close to the end of a TV season, and there are still a lot of FOX shows on the bubble. Of course, FOX is one of those networks that likes to keep us on the edge, but we seem to be more on the edge than ever before.
In some good news, there are a few shows with already confirmed fates. For the adult animation fans, there has been a lot of great news as of late. Not only did shows end up renewed for one season, but for multiple seasons. On top of that, there are a few scripted FOX shows confirmed for the future.
All the FOX shows renewed so far
The 2025–2026 TV season is looking on the thinner side than we’d like right now. There haven’t been many TV shows renewed just yet, outside of the adult animation shows. There is still time for a few more renewals to come through before the fall 2025 schedule is set, though, so that brings some hope.
The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Bob’s Burgers have all been renewed for four seasons each. On top of that, American Dad! is moving back to FOX and will have four seasons as well. This takes us all the way through to the 2028–2029 TV season for all of these shows.
The adult animation line will stay pretty packed as well, as Universal Basic Guys and Krapopolis had already been renewed before the current TV season, so we knew we could watch both without worrying too much.

When it comes to the scripted shows, it’s two freshman series that have been renewed. Murder in a Small Town was the first renewal, and then soon after the new FOX medical drama Doc was renewed for a second season.
Out of all the unscripted shows, there have been a couple of renewals, and those renewals aren’t all that surprising. After all, they are both Gordon Ramsay shows. Yes, we’re getting more of Hell’s Kitchen and Next Level Chef.
Here’s a look at all the shows renewed, and the seasons they’re renewed for going into the 2025–2026 TV season:

All the FOX shows cancelled so far
There have been a few cancellation decisions up to this point in time. The biggest one was the decision to end 911: Lone Star after five seasons. This decision did come ahead of the season premiering on FOX, and it wasn’t quite the strongest season that it could have been.
Nothing else has been cancelled just yet. With a number of shows on the bubble, we are expecting more cancellations coming soon. This list is accurate as of May 2, 2025.

Here’s a look at everything still on the bubble:
