After a shocking elimination due to a tie-breaker moment in Destination X in the previous episode, the remaining six contestants found themselves with a tricky set of clues in Destination X season 1, episode 7. To be honest, this was one that was a struggle even for most viewers.
As a quick recap, the bus was still shocked by the turn of events in the previous episode. Mack went home all because of Peter’s decision. Well, really, it was because of Biggy’s decision, and he felt the weight of that on the bus, regretting the decision to tell Shayne the destination.
Now, nobody wanted to see a tie-breaker moment happen again. That was way too stressful, and it meant keeping as much information to themselves as possible. It also meant telling someone the wrong location on purpose, even though they didn’t have the right location in the first place!

Nobody got X right in Destination X season 1, episode 7
One thing that everyone realized was that they were heading south from Salzburg, Austria, and so they had to figure out what was south. There are a few countries south of Austria, including Italy, Croatia, and Slovenia.
As they went on the journey, they were put in teams to kayak down a river and pick up clues that involved them picking the odd bag out from the others. The team with the fastest time and most correct bags would get an extra special clue.
Shayne and Rick ended up getting all three odd bags, and so they got the clue. Well, it didn’t help them all that much, because it turned out that the adventure for the episode held all of the clues to Destination X.
After that, it was time for an odd game of Battleships, but in person and as soldiers. Rick, Peter, and JaNa went up against Shayne, Biggy, and Ally, with Shayne’s team winning. That meant Peter’s team was up in the Map Room, leading to a break in this secret alliance.
All three ended up getting the destination wrong. It turned out that the bus was back in Italy (the country in the first episode), and this time to Venice. Now we know returning to a country isn't off the table, and it could change everything.

Who was eliminated from the game in Destination X?
So, with everyone getting it wrong, it really was down to who was the furthest away. Peter was the only one in the right country, but he chose northern Italy.
Rick, who had told JaNa and Peter that he was sure they were in Slovenia, ended up choosing Croatia, while JaNa trusted Rick, and put herself somewhere in Slovenia. She wasn’t sure about it, but she had no other clues to work with.
In the end, JaNa was the one located furthest away from Venice, Italy, and she was sent home from the game. It leaves five players vying for the $250,000.
Destination X airs on Tuesdays at 10/9c on NBC.
