Jeffrey Dean Morgan takes the contestants on an adventure that involves a lot of beer and fairy tales in Destination X season 1, episode 5. Where have they ended up, and who is eliminated this week?

After saying goodbye to Tai in the previous episode, the bus of contestants starts to pick their side. While Rick is teaming up with Peter and JaNa, the rest of the bus is against the newcomers. That’s made even worse as the drama starts among the group.
Where is X in Destination X season 1 episode 5?
The group is asked to pair up and give themselves numbers 1 and 2. Jeffrey Dean Morgan then tells them that the 1s are in one team and the 2s are in another team. They’re heading on a train journey, where they need to put together the clues to get a destination to help them figure out where X is. If they get all nine clues right, they get a major reveal that will help them figure out their next location.
Rick, Biggy, Mack, and Shayne are one on team, and they quickly get to work to make sure they get their clues. Peter, JaNa, Kimberly, and Ally are on the other team, where Peter decides to suggest something wild. Knowing that the losing team will get red herring information, he thinks that they should all purposely lose so they know that they have the wrong locations. Of course, Peter and JaNa are working with Rick, so they know they’ll get information from him.
Peter has already worked out the direction they’re traveling in based on the sun. He’s not the only one, as Mack and Biggy are also smart enough to figure out that the sun is a big clue for direction. However, Peter asks Ally not to tell Shayne that they purposely got the red herring clues, which, while she originally agrees to keep it a secret, she tells Shayne anyway.
Peter’s conversation about morality in the game is a little weird. He’s just driving a wedge between himself and the others, and it’s not surprising that people really want him out of the game.
The next part of the adventure is one that involves fairy tales, and if you know your Grimm Brothers stories, you know exactly where the contestants are heading. Morgan keeps the fairy tale theme with the baskets, with poisonous apples sending three people to the Map Room, cookies just for a treat, and magic mirrors (Mack and JaNa were both honest about having the mirrors and nobody wanted to believe them!) giving the two the power to send two other people to the Map Room.
In the end, Kimberly, Ally, and Rick all end up with poisonous apples. Meanwhile, Mack sends Peter and JaNa sends Shayne.
Can they work out that they’re in Munich, Germany, the home of Oktoberfest?
Who is eliminated in Destination X episode 5?
Rick and Peter have worked out the clues and they know they’re in Munich, Germany. Rick worked out the beer clues, while Peter was able to figure out, based on direction and JaNa telling him that part of her magic mirror prize was to get a message from Heidi Klum, who was born in Munich.
Ally and Shayne aren’t too sure, but they have a couple of locations in mind. They opt for the same place, Stuttgart, which was one of the places mentioned by Morgan on the train.
Kimberly ends up the furthest away, choosing to go with Frankfurt. She did consider Munich at one point, but her lone wolf game ended up working against her. She didn’t have any extra clues from other people.
Now the contestants are down to seven, and the drama is brewing between the original contestants and Peter and JaNa, with Rick somewhere in the middle.
