New alliances had to be formed in Destination X season 1, episode 3, as two new contestants joined the group. Peter Weber and JaNa Craig immediately looked out for who they could trust, and one player was at the bottom of the list.
Caution: This post contains SPOILERS for Destination X season 1, episode 4.
It was not an easy episode for Biggy, as he had a choice to make. It was him or another contestant, and naturally, he was going to choose someone else. It’s just not easy to do when you’re forming friendships, but if one person breaks trust, then it’s going to make them a target.
Where was X in Destination X season 1, episode 4?
The episode kicked off with a recap of sorts from the previous episode. Tia continued to state that she hadn’t met JaNa on the bridge in the previous challenge, but everyone knew that that was a lie. Why would Shayne meet Peter but Tia not meet JaNa?
This is where the trust started to fail, and it wasn’t long before Tia started to lose her alliance. Even being part of the winning team to see a major clue to the location didn’t help. Biggy and Rick decided not to tell her that they saw buildings, windmills, and the flag of The Netherlands. Instead, they said they saw the colors of the German flag.
So, during the big challenge when it was all about trust, it wasn’t surprising to see Tia targeted early on and have her vase broken. It all came down to Shayne having to choose between Biggy and Ally. In the end, he went with Biggy, who has been part of his alliance from the very beginning. That meant Biggy got to know the exact location, which, to be honest, many people had worked out thanks to a few obvious clues.
They were in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. And Biggy even confirmed that with Shayne, who also told Ally. Rick told Peter that he saw the Dutch flag, so Peter told JaNa that the location was Amsterdam. It just so happened that Kimberly was pretending to sleep and overheard it.

Who went home in Destination X season 1 episode 4?
Biggy was the only contestant not going to the Map Room during the episode. However, he wasn’t completely safe. He had to make someone pick the wrong country. If everyone chose The Netherlands, even if they got the city wrong, then Biggy was going home.
There was only one person he could choose to manipulate. After already losing trust in Tia and he and Rick deciding to tell her that it was German colors they saw, he decided to make her believe they were somewhere else. With the clues, he was able to tell her that they were in Brussels, Belgium.
Biggy nearly messed up when he made up an elaborate clue that he saw in the VIP room in the bus. He told Tia there were diamonds, which Brussels is supposedly known for. However, Tia said in the confessional that she researched a lot before coming on the show, and she knew Antwerp was known for diamonds. This had her doubting Biggy, but it wasn’t enough for her to change her mind on the country.
Fortunately for Biggy, Tia opted for Belgium, and as the only one not to pick Amsterdam, she was out of the game. Maybe it is a little payback for Tia telling Rachel the wrong location in Destination X season 1, episode 3.
It was a shock to her as she learned that Biggy had betrayed her, but Biggy was open and honest about it to everyone, including Tia. At the end of the day, Biggy was going to want to stay in, and if Tia had that opportunity, she would have done something similar. Maybe not to Biggy, but she would have betrayed someone.
Destination X airs on Tuesdays at 10/9c on NBC.
