We’ve still got a lot of competition left this season, but the countdown to the Dancing with the Stars finale is officially on!
ABC has announced that season 34 of Dancing with the Stars will come to a close on Tuesday, November 25, meaning one couple will have something extra to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. That’s right, we’re in the home stretch of the season, with only a few more weeks in the competition standing between the remaining couples and the title of Dancing with the Stars champion.
Heading into November, there are four episodes scheduled to air across the month of November, including a few more theme weeks and the show's special 20th birthday celebration show:
- Tuesday, November 4: Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night
- Tuesday, November 11: 20th Birthday Party
- Tuesday, November 18 - Prince Night (Semi-Finals)
- Tuesday, November 25 - Finale Night
These final weeks of the competition are sure to test the competitors in new ways with the couples needing to give it their all in order to impress the judges and win over America for their votes. These final eliminations are going to be brutal as it's a tight season and the couples will have to bring their A-game if they hope to make it to the finale.
It’s unclear exactly how many couples will make it to finale night this season, but if the show sticks to the format it’s been following in more recent seasons, we should be seeing four couples battling it out for the Mirrorball. At this point, there’s really no telling who those four couples will be, as the season has been one of the most competitive and unpredictable seasons yet!
Regardless of which couples make it to the finale, we’re surely in store for an unforgettable finale. We’ve seen some amazing dances this season and we can’t wait to see what the couples who make it to the finale come up with for their final dances of the season, including their freestyle routines. The freestyles are always a highlight of the season, allowing the stars to show off everything they’ve learned over the course of the season, without the constraints of a particular genre or theme.
After what’s been a record-breaking season, we imagine it’ll be a tight race in the end, and those freestyle routines could very well prove to be the deciding factor in who will be hoisting the Mirrorball Trophy into the air on finale night come November 25!
