The wait is over: Dancing with the Stars has officially announced the cast for season 34, and the cast is a perfect mix of big names with fresh faces!

This season, the Dancing with the Stars producers took a unique approach to casting and revealed the names of several members of the cast well in advance of the full cast reveal. Heading into the live announcement of the full season 34 cast on Good Morning America, ABC announced the identities of the first four cast members for the season in a series of special reveals over the summer.

The fun began on April 22 when animal conservationist and TV personality Robert Irwin became the first member of the season 34 cast. A month later, Good Morning America revealed that TikToker and entrepreneur Alix Earle would also be taking to the ballroom as the second official member of the cast. Finally, just ahead of the Fourth of July holiday, ABC made a splash when it revealed Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Jennifer Affleck and Whitney Leavitt would both enter the competition.

With four names locked in, fans were eager to see who would round out the cast and the reveal finally came today live on Good Morning America! ABC unveiled the complete cast of stars set to compete for the Mirrorball Trophy this fall, beginning with the addition of Olympian Jordan Chiles.

Also joining the cast are an NBA All-Star, a pair of singers, a High School Musical star's younger brother turned reality TV fan-favorite, and a handful of 90s icons including one of the most iconic movie antagonists and the star of one of the biggest shows from the decade! Dancing with the Stars 2025 premiere date

With the cast now locked in, the countdown to Dancing with the Stars season 34 officially enters the home stretch, and we’re less than two weeks away from the season premiere.

Dancing with the Stars season 34 premieres Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 8/7c on ABC and streaming on Disney+. The show is among the first of this year’s fall shows to premiere, giving the show a leg up on its competition in pulling viewers in weeks before its competition’s new seasons begin. That’s more than enough time to hook viewers and convince them to stick around when the likes of CBS’s NCIS shows, The Voice, Murder in a Small Town, and Doc kick off their new seasons later in the season!

Fans will be able to enjoy new episodes throughout the fall, leading up to the season finale sometime in late November or early December.
