But we also have Ripley dressed as Tigger to look forward to in the latest Halloween episode of Chicago Med.
Ready to find out what happens next at Gaffney? Let's dive into Chicago Med season 11 episode 5 for what's sure to be another great episode with a recap!

Asher and Lenox treat a patient with a troubling baby dilemma
The episode opens with Lenox's brother Kip buzzing her apartment and waking her up. He's wearing a suit and beginning his day, but Lenox's is mortified when a hookup interrupts their conversation in his underwear. Kip's planning to propose to his girlfriend and wants their mother's ring. Archer joins Asher at an ultrasound, and they disagree about finding out the sex of the baby. Charles' friends drop by to wish him a happy birthday. It's a busy morning for the team before they even get to work.
Ripley and Charles treat a young boy named Lucas, who tripped and hurt his chin while freaking out at school. When he finally speaks out, he yells about everyone around him being monsters. Charles also notices that his teacher has a cut on her arm and is bleeding. It's a curious case already. Lenox also takes on the case of a college student who's experiencing severe abdonimnal pain. There's also the lingering myth that one of the rooms in the hospital could be cursed.
When Asher's doctor brings up some potentially abnormal tests that aren't cause for concern yet, Asher agrees that they wait and continue to monitor, which is what she would suggest for her own patients. However, Archer continues to push back. Well, here's the clashing! Goodwin visits Bert at his assisted living facility, and he's clearly having a difficult time. He lashes out at Goodwin, and she lashes out right back before grabbing her things and leaving. She expresses her regret to Archer.
Asher consultants with Lenox about her patient experiencing endometritis and realizes that the patient is having a miscarriage. Jenny will need surgery and as Asher takes cultures, she discovers a tear and an umbilical cord, meaning she delivered the baby. She and Lenox are left wondering what could have happened. They bring the case to Goodwin, who will have to report the missing baby to CPD. Asher and Lenox agree on how to proceed with Jenny's medical care.

Chicago Med season 11 episode 5 features an unexpected PD crossover
The nurse who's convinced there's a spirit haunting one of the ED rooms gets a win when a table crashes to the floor out of nowhere. Archer isn't buying into it. Charles meets with Lucas' foster parents, who reveal that his biological parents will be attempting to regain custody of him. While talking with Burgess from Chicago PD, Jenny begins to hemorrhage and must be rushed into surgery. Before being whisked away, she admits to Burgess that she buried her baby.
After Archer revives a patient, the haunted room momentarily loses power. Once again, his nurse suggests it was a ghost. Charles gives Lucas special green glasses that reduce the effects of his PMO disorder. He finally opens about about the "mistakes" his biological parents didn't allow. They would yell at him, tie him to his bed, and starve him. Asher saves Jenny, but Burgess found the baby deceased and could put Jenny into some legal troubles.
Still, the baby died weeks earlier in Jenny's uterus. Jenny tells Asher that she didn't know she was officially pregnant. She never saw a doctor or even took a pregnancy test because that would make it real. Also, is anyone else worried that a major pregnancy storyline paired with Asher and Archer arguing over testing their baby could potentially be foreshadowing? Just throwing that out there. Asher later seems to also be keeping herself from making her impending motherhood real.
Finally, we get to see Ripley dressed as Tigger while trick-or-treating with Sadie and Amelia. Ripley doesn't appreciate that Sadie doesn't seem to trust him caring for Amelia. He assures her that he will always have eyes on Amelia when he's around and a potential spat is avoided. Kip forces Lenox to come meet his future wife Gemma. Before leaving the hospital for the evening, Goodwin receives a call from Bert's facility saying he fell. When she arrives, it doesn't look good for Bert.
