Brilliant Minds returns with its second season on NBC this fall, and the cast just keeps on growing. Just a few days ago, we learned that Days of Our Lives alum Al Calderon had joined the season 2 cast as a series regular. Now, we've just learned of four new cast additions who have been confirmed to make guest appearances in the upcoming season.

One of the new cast members is Love on the Spectrum star Connor Tomlinson. Tomlinson has been a cast member of the hit Netflix dating series for two seasons, where we watched him navigate the world of dating as someone on the autism spectrum. According to Deadline, he will guest star in the third episode of Brilliant Minds season 2 as a character named Tom, a man living in a group home who loves spy stories and encounters the doctors during a case.

Also joining Tomlinson as a guest star this season is The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams. She will reportedly appear in the first episode and play a character named Bitsy. Bitsy is described as a wealthy housewife living on the Upper West Side of NYC who knows all the gossip about the medical community. She's also a patient of Dr. Carol Pierce.

Other new cast members include Molly Bernard and Laura Vandervoort. Bernard will appear in the second episode, playing the role of Lauren Brooks. Lauren is a young professional facing a mental health crisis on a reality dating show. Unlike Tomlinson and Williams, Bernard is not a reality star. She is an accomplished actress best known for her work on TV shows such as Younger, Transparent and Chicago Med.

Vandervoort, on the other hand, is set to guest star in the first episode as a character named Cynthia Grudko. Cynthia is the wife of an MMA fighter dealing with her husband’s mysterious health issues. You might recognize Vandervoort from her previous roles in shows like Instant Star, Smallville, V-Wars, Sullivan's Crossing and Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent.

Tomlinson, Williams, Bernard, Vandervoort, and Calderon join other new cast members for season 2, such as Brian Altemus, John Clarence Stewart, and Bellamy Young. Altemus and Stewart are signed on as series regulars like Calderon, while Young is a recurring guest star.

Brilliant Minds season 2 is scheduled to start airing on NBC on Monday, Sept. 22, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. ET/9:00 p.m. CT. Don't forget to save the date and time!
