When Ava won the Head of Household, we knew we were in store for one of the most eventful weeks of Big Brother 27 yet! Thankfully, Ava did not disappoint!
Unlike the HOHs before her, Ava had no issue at all in targeting some of the biggest threats in the game when she nominated Zach, Keanu, and Vince for eviction. While she was ready to possibly add another target to the mix and possibly throw Morgan up on the block, Katherine ultimately chose not to use the Power of Veto she won, which ensured that one of the three original nominees would be going home this week.
Heading into the live eviction, it was clear that the goal would be to get rid of Keanu or Vince. Keanu has been a house target for weeks, but Vince’s target has gradually been growing, with Rachel and Ava both seemingly set on sending him out this week. Then there is Zach, who has flown under the radar this week, but as any Big Brother fan knows, pawns can easily go home, especially when they’re a threat in competitions and have a great social game.
Leading up to the BB Blockbuster, the houseguests all began to ponder how they’d vote, and it became clear that perhaps Zach wasn’t as safe as he seemed heading into the eviction. With a big threat going home no matter what, it’s clear the houseguests have a lot to consider. If Keanu wins the BB Blockbuster, things are about to get really interesting, as there’s no telling how the houseguests will vote between Zach and Vince. The same goes for if Zach wins, as Keanu might not be voted out with a unanimous vote.
Who won the BB Blockbuster on Big Brother: Keanu, Vince, or Zach?
After 20 minutes of clips featuring the houseguests debating who they'd be voting to evict this week, it finally came time for the BB Blockbuster competition.
For this week's BB Blockbuster, the houseguests were presented with four stacks of gemstones. The goal? To move the gemstones in an attempt to get the same colored gemstones on the posts of the same color. The houseguests could only move one gemstone at a time and they could not place any on the ground while moving them during the challenge.
As the competition began, it looked neck-and-neck for a good stretch as Keanu, Vince, and Zach raced to move the gemstones around in order to get them on the correct posts. While Zach and Vince were moving their gemstones around with speed, Keanu once again took a slow and steady approach, clearly thinking his moves through before making them.
It was a strategy that again played off for Keanu as he successfully completed the challenge first, winning the BB Blockbuster challenge. With his safety secured, Keanu comes off the block, leaving Vince and Zach in danger of being evicted and setting up an interesting eviction vote.
Who was evicted on Big Brother this week?
With their fates sealed, Zach and Vince gave their final pleas to the house in hopes of convincing them to keep them in the game. As friends in the game, Vince and Zach chose not to campaign against their fellow nominee and kept things pretty tame by expressing their desire to remain in the game.
From there, the voting began, and we headed into a commercial break with a tied vote, with Mickey and Ashley voting to evict Zach, and Rachel and Will voting to evict Vince. However, after the commercial, as the votes continued, it became a sweep with the remaining houseguests all voting to evict Zach, making him the latest houseguest to be evicted from Big Brother 27.
