Season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise continues to be one of the most entertaining seasons yet. There are so many fun new games, and backstabbing is abundant.
Let's get to the best and worst moments of Bachelor in Paradise episode 9!
Best moment: Relationship Tests- Glamping and Sharp Opinions
The relationship tests continue to improve these episodes!
In past seasons, most of what the couples did was lie on the beach, swim in the pool, drink, and chat. Not very true to the real world! But now that the show is providing/forcing them into actual activities, we can see how they work together, and more of their individual personalities!
It’s also hilarious that the relationship therapist watches and judges them while they set up camp. If a therapist was watching me try to set up a campsite with someone, I would definitely be judged harshly!
I will say, though, this wasn’t exactly “glamping.” Glamping should be much more glam than this situation!
The next relationship test: Sharp Opinions!
Jesse Palmer descends onto the scene (yay!) and asks questions about character. The contestants have to literally stab the figures of the other contestants. I loved this voodoo doll-esque challenge. Hilarious!
It was also fun to see what the contestants really think of each other! The anonymity of the challenge allowed them to be truly honest.
I also liked that the votes were received as a couple. So if one person was voted “most codependent,” the couple as a pair received the vote. I was genuinely surprised by some of these opinions. Great information!
Worst moment: Rose Ceremony eliminations
At the Rose Ceremony, it ends up being a tie between Keith and Jonathon for who goes home.
It comes down to Dale to decide who gets the rose. Dale gives the rose to Keith to give to Kathy. This wasn’t surprising, but still the worst moment of the episode!
I was happy to keep the Golden couple, but I was sad to see Jonathon and Lea go home!
It was kind of fun to have at least one “friendship” couple on the show. Who knows how much of this romance is real anyway, and I appreciated Jonathon's honesty, his lack of romantic feelings. And Jonathon was just a great contestant overall.
Farewell, Jonathon and Lea. Maybe we will see them on future shows! We will at least see them next week. According to the preview, the eliminated contestants are returning! We'll see how that goes.
